Caffe Nero in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Amazing Tasty snacks and good coffee..could be a bit more polite..with customers.

Place could do with a refurb. Waited 10 mins to place order. Staff looked miserable...what happened to service with a smile!

Friendly staff and good coffee and muffin. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Popular on a Saturday morning.

After a visit to Specsavers audiology we stopped here for a latte, as usual it was busy, but staff always polite & courteous. It was a beautiful day & we were lucky enough to find a table outside. Though they were busy they were always quick to clear away a table & wipe everything ready for next customer. when we go to Newcastle it's always a must to stop here for a drink. This day we were lucky enough to sit & listen to a busker Samantha singer close by.

1st time visit and probably the last to be fair, drinks were "ok" the staff were pleasant enough though lacked any type of enthusiasm, the place as a whole looks tired, front signage is blistered and falling away as if it was an abandoned business rather than an inviting coffee shop.

Best local coffee around. Great staff, very friendly.

I come in here all the time and have never had a bad coffee! The workers are also lovely and are always doing a great job :)

As a rule I normally try to find some positives within a bad experience, but on this occasion I cannot! On asking if one of the staff could wipe down the table before we sat down with our order, I was told to do it myself with the blue roll and spray that was located with the stirrers, spoons, napkins etc. After doing the job myself, I went back to the counter to suggest that it wouldn't have been too much to ask for one of the three staff to wipe down the tables for the customers, at which point I was rudely informed they were baristas not waitresses! Clearly our baristas is not very good at her job as my cappuccino was about one third froth and the rest luke warm coffee! Needless to say that, having previously enjoyed many visits to this establishment, we will now never again be giving them our custom. On leaving, you can imagine my thoughts when I witnessed the very same baristas bring out two plated up paninis for another customer. Not waitresses - sorry you can't have it both ways. So disappointed!!! ☕️👎🏻

Been to many Caffè Nero’s around the UK. This was by far the worst one. One staff member in particular (young, brunette and glasses.) spoke to us very rudely after we said we never received the points on app and tried to blame us and then also got our drink order wrong. She said she put caramel in it but it definitely didn’t other staff member was nice. She’s really ruining the reputation of Caffè Nero. Every other Nero we’ve been to has been amazing.

Friendly quick service from staff. Sadly scone dry but good cup tea. Very popular but let down by dirty windows & bins close to entrance door!
