Really friendly guy , the food wasn't so tasty unfortunately

Really disappointed. Chips were lukewarm and tasteless, texture was very rubbery. Fish had really strong aftertaste, didn't taste fresh and was over cooked, batter was super brown. Peas were extremely runny and cold. Wouldn't go back.

Very poor hygiene and poor service, food is reheated in microwave and other proper chippy oven are switched off to save money, don't how this place is able to survive.

Great takeaway with an outstanding menu. Freshly cooked food while you wait using only the best ingredients catering for a good range of tastes. Friendly atmosphere upon arival, greeted by happy staff and service with a smile. Well worth a visit.5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I cant comment on the food because I never recieved it. I ordered online through dineorder on Friday night , three meals for delivery £17.40, the dineorder response to me was order recieved , food being prepared. Great. An hour and half later I'm thinking I should phone up to see why its taking so long, when I recieve an email saying the chippy is closed at 9.30pm !!??And the email said my order was a collection!!?? And not a delivery??I called the owner around Monday or Tuesday he didnt seem to know about my order and told me that on Fridays they dont deliver....well thats not what dineorder said! So he was calling HO at dineorder to find out what went wrong. A week goes by I hear nothing. I called the owner again , who says dineorder should have phoned me(they didnt) and my order was collected? How the hell does any stranger go in and ask for my order, because I didnt collect it I was awaiting delivery. Anyway the owner then gives me dinorders number. Ive left a voicemail but had nothing back . I'm £17.40 worse off and neither the owner or dineorder are willing to help. You decide if you shop here. I wont

Absolutely disappointing.. waited over an hour and half for delivery despite being told it would arrive in 20-30 mins. When it finally arrived we found the food was way below average especially for the price being charged. I feel the food is very overpriced and disappointing had we not been so hungry we Wouldn’t have bothered and won’t be bothering again!!!

Great food and the owner is incredibly friendly. Will definitely be coming by again some time soon :)Thanks for the great fish and chips, my other half really enjoyed it. She liked the vinegar so she might have some on hers next time

it has the best price for lots of good food; i've only tried the fish and chips, but they were pretty good and fresh. the owner is really nice too! the place is pretty neat. you can't pay by card though

We travel about 20 minutes to use this chippy which speaks volumes for how much we rate it. Fish in breadcrumbs are quality and the burgers are very good too. Friendly & efficient service too, the man who runs the shop is a really nice guy.
