Best fish and chips around. We regularly do an evening with our group of youngsters where we blind taste test chips from a number of chip shops locally. This place always comes out tops. What's more, the staff are lovely too

We pulled in the layby by chance, service with a smile and really helpful, the fish and chips were the nicest ever tasted. Crispy outside, soft inside and not greasy at all perfectly yummy. We are definitely going back there even though we live an 120 minutes drive away.

Dancing Octopus has been one of the best chip shops in the area. Food always fresh as it can be, ladies are all lovely as well. Good value for what you wgt as well.

I just went in on a Friday afternoon, to get battered sausage & chips. The place is very clean, and the staff served me in a quick and professional manner. The batter on the sausage was just right , not though, like it that had been there a long time. Likewise the chips weren't too greasy. In short a great meal to fill me up for dinner & tea.
