This chippie is awesome! I’m an expat and haven’t visited a chippie in almost a decade, I live in Switzerland and we don’t get chippies there. I was so excited I took selfies and everyone found it so amusing that the boss Nick agreed to a selfie with me he was so lovely. Got to payment and got told that the guy two ahead of us in the queue had already paid for our food. What amazing Christmas spirit there is in Talke! The food was delicious too, here’s a pic of my kids and I (my son is 12 and doesn’t remember chippies) enjoying it. Merry Christmas to Nick and his friendly employees and to whoever that guy is in the background; you lovely lot ❤️

Been awful the last two times I've had food from this establishment. The first time we shrugged it off as we've always had nice meals but tonight was the worst.Firstly, the sausage, chips and gravy tasted like it had half a bottle of salt poured over stale chips. All small, tiny chips. Gravy was like tar.Secondly, the carton of peas was the consistency of water and tasteless.Not sure if this was due to going 45 minutes before close or not, but either way food quality should still have been good.

Called in a few weeks back I had chicken tikka and chips garlic sauce and chilli sauce fantastic one of the best chippy's I've been to and trust me I've been to a few

Lovely staff, and food is delightful, slightly on the pricier side compared to other chippies but well worth the money.

First time visiting here at the recommendation of my kids. Friendly service, great chat (about Crypto Coins) and really nice tasting food.

Great place the staff are great the food is brilliant the size of the fish there is incredible and its not badly priced if I have a choice it'd be the only chippy I'd go to 5 stars every time

Spent £21 for four adults here, as you can see, battered burger, batter not cooked, fish tasted lovely but crikey sort your packaging out, all the batter stuck to the paper, just ended up with a plate of broken up fish with mashed batter scraped off the paper, not great for how much it was

I went here under the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. I travelled 15 miles (each way) The chicken burger was fantastic presented well. The staff are friendly! Would 100% recommend!
