Miller & Carter in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. We booked online at short notice for lunch. Great lunch time menu & prices. The lady who served us was brilliant and very hospitable. Food was delicious.Unfortunately we were unable to leave a tip on the card payment. It's one of my favourite places to dine & I'm looking forward to our next visit.I did notice a few cobwebs in the window where we were seated.

Food was fantastic. I will say the waitering service was a little to be desired. Alot of confusion was going on around. We waited for forks and water and I had 3 bent steak knives which looked like they were used as screwdrivers 😂🤣😂

Excellent meal. Staff very friendly. Meal was fantastic. Will definitely go again.

Absolutely delightful the staff and food excellent, definitely be going again and again. Christmas day we had a steak dinner, it was done to perfection. Staff hardworking could not do enough for us.

Great lunch out for a Birthday. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Main meals were amazing, hot and well cooked. Probably wouldn't bother with a dessert next time but over all fab.

We visited during Covid one day around 5.30pm, it was busy but not packed and you can clearly see that adjustments have been made to the seating plan to allow for social distancing.On arrival we checked in using the Track and Trace but then were unsure where to wait as there was a queue - the waiting area could have been better signposted.We have visited again since then and seems more spread out and more staff are back working to avoid longer waits.

Lovely meal in a lovely setting. The staff were doing their best and seemed a little short handed but we fully appreciated all their efforts to get our meal to us. I would have given 5 stars but the food had a few little issues that meant I had to deduct one if I was being fair amongst all the reviews I've left before. I'm sure when everyone gets fully up to speed again these things will automatic correct themselves and next time I will be leaving 5. I made no complaints on the day though as I could see how hard they were all working and that they were being tested. Hopefully others are fair too given circumstances.

Wasn't very busy when we arrived so getting a table wasn't a problem. Daughter and I had a bacon cheeseburger with sides also an extra side of camembert mash that was something else 😋 I can recommend 👌 the young gentleman that served us was friendly and attentive, if ever in the area its worth a visit.
