Food very nice well presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Interior in need of work smells musty. If this was improved the place would alot busier. As food is very good.

Very friendly staff and the food was above our expectations and good value too.

Food was excellent service was outstandingJust one negative the seat next to window in first booth has you enter the restaurant to avoid it is lumpy and uncomfortable.But food and service outstandingPurchased using a Groupon voucher but there were extras which you simply paid for on site.Eg Groupon voucher for 2 cost 23.20And paid on site another approx 19.00 for 2So total price for 2 was 41.20But that was for a 3 Couse meal with one glass of wine for two peoplePlus an additional glass of wineFor my other halfWell worth it food and service.

The team were very accommodating of our large group, and kindly provided a specially devised set menu to make ordering and payment simpler for us.The food was excellent.The decor in the bar and hotel in general is tired and the furnishings could do with a face lift, but the staff were attentive and more than made up for it.Our group went out for good food and good company, and we achieved all that at the Ostler.A better drinks service at the table would have made the rating 5*, but we would go back again nonetheless.Thanks to the team 😊

Lovely last minute lunch, delicious food and very good value, with great service,very quiet though, just four of us in the restaurant, probably after Christmas lull, definitely worth a visit .
