Staff really attentive. Buffet food great variety. Cosy room loved the lighting. Only drawback white wine was at room temperature, not cold at all. On the hold lovely.

Have lunch there today. Excellent meal. Clean pub and friendly staff. I had a beef roast dinner. It was gorgeous.

Only went for a drink but some of the staff were blatently rude! 30 something man behind the bar never made a single bit of eye contact with us from the moment we walked in and the female bar staff were not much better. I'm sorry but if you like good food, atmosphere and a friendly welcome do NOT go here!

Highly recommend Slaters! The food is fantastic. From delicious sandwiches to the most wonderfully cooked meals. In a lovely relaxed setting with an open fire, real ales, great wine and attentive service. Whether a light lunch or an evening out, I don't think you'll be disappointed booking here.

This is my favourite place to eat and to be in that lovely and cosy atmosphere. They have a new Head Chef, and the food is as great as it was before, I would say it is even better now! The staff is so lovely there. Highly recommend Slaters Country restaurant! 👌♡

Lovely venue and local country pub. Roaring fire in winter and great colourful summer gardens. Good service levels from most and good restaurant food. Buffet is standard stuff. Pleasant enough. Good comfy armchairs were a blessing for older guests.

Really good food, large portion sizes! They handled a group of 17 very well, food was pre-ordered and was ready exactly when we requested. We'll be back for sure!

Had our wedding here 2wks ago they couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. As many couples we had to change date due to covid19 and they were fab with it all. The day was stress free had so many comments from guests how wonderful the day was.

Lovely upgrade for us from a twin to King-size bed, nice friendly staff at reception and in the breakfast room. Breakfast was a wait but with those views you can't complain. We'll definitely be going back and had a little look around at the wedding facilities this morning all looked fabulous
