Fries with chilli and a sloppy chicken burger, pigged out tonight, totally worth it. It was delicious 🐷

Staff trying their best but so many menu items unavailable. No salad on burger, no pizza, no mash because they'd 'run out' (Shows the mash is from a frozen bag because they did have other potato based items) burger was really poor because of no trimmings and salad and no discount offered, no chicken dinner, ordered a big Yorkshire pud with sausage but it just came with regular Yorkshires, no fried onions as advertised, and no mash! They put about 6 chips on there instead, it was almost funny if we hadn't been so hungry from a long day!Portion sizes absolutely shocking - my kids aren't big eaters but they ate everything and left hungry. We even had to stop at McDonald's afterwards. We regularly visit our local brewer's fayre and we don't have huge expectations as know it's just standard, half decent pub grub but this was just terrible. If you're not going to serve what is advertised at least offer a discount.

The food and service was appalling. This was our first family meal out since covid. Think i will stay home and cook in future. The staff had no interest in rectifying problems and openly slammed our plates down after we complained.

Not even running at half capacity and food took over an hour to arrive. Watched one family cancel and ask for money back. Whilst others were in same boat as me. Kids play area was good and safe.

Waited 45 minutes for breakfast, still not here. Our 6 yr old and 9 yr both crying as they are hungry. We can only see one employee, who is working very hard managing tables for 30+ people. I don’t think it’s fair on the employee. Needs better management.

It got two stars for the nice staff. Food was so awful I had a burger and chips, the burger was crunchy, the cheese was cremated no side garnish My son had chicken club sandwich presentation none existant. If my two year old grandson wasnt with us and he is 2 otherwise all food would have been returned.I havent had food this bad for ages. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot.. sadly won't return. It wasn't cheap either it was okay price.

We came last night to let our children have a play in the indoor soft play (we pre booked a session which we were told was from 5pm - 7pm) upon arriving we were told the session was 1 hour and that our pre booked table was not available due to others that had not left so we were given someone elses pre booked table 🤷🏼♀️ it was rammed with children (which I know isn't a bad thing but some of the children were BIG and were throwing themselves around, knocking the toddlers around aswel as another child punching and taking his anger out on the equipment which also nearly sent one of mine flying when he punched it towards her... there was no staff over looking to tell the parents to keep their children under a bit more control) we eventually left after just 45 minutes and decided to go for a meal as the resturant area seemed pretty quiet. We ordered, my partner got the table number wrong but corrected it straight away after coming back to the table from ordering and realising of which the lady went into the back and told them and said it was all sorted. We sat there and waited and watched how others were getting upset, chasing up their meals and even leaving, saying they had waited nearly 1hr & 30 mins for their food. We gave them the benefit of the doubt as we ordered really simple food but we ended up waiting ourselves over 1hr to which at this point the toddlers were extremely hungry, upset and it was getting onto being quite late. We chased it up to which the waitress finally came back to us asking what food we ordered..... she went away and came back saying food would be on its way, it turned up 10 minutes later and she said that it was OUR fault that the food was late due to the mistake of telling them the wrong table number EVEN THOUGH WE CORRECTED IT STRAIGHT AWAY. There was NO appologies, no thank you for waiting, not even a chase up to see how our meals were. The service is shocking, zero customer service skills and just plain rude. We could understand if it was busy but it wasn't even a quarter full. We felt like we were putting the staff out with asking if they could chase the food up and if we could have some sauces after the food arrived.. so unwelcoming and miserable. Won't be returning.

Went for Christmas lunch. The queue for the carvery was huge, so big that it reached the entrance doors. There were no directions as to where to go if you were waiting to be seated.Once we got to the table our starters were brought out promptly. They were nice.We then queued for carvery, there was a large selection but it didn't really taste of anything unfortunately. They also had to run out of gravy and we had to wait again for it to be refilled so the food went really cold.Whilst we were in the queue the staff actually started to clear down our table as they thought we had left even though we had full drinks and hadn't used the cutlery. The staff cleared our plates and asked if we were ready for dessert. We said yes. 20 mins later still no puddings. One of the party spoke to 2 different people and they both said they'd get them. Still after over 35 mins no puddings. At this point we decided to leave as it hadn't been at all enjoyable. We asked the manager for our money back for the puddings and left. She was very helpful and did apologise for the mess. One of the young waitresses was very rude about the fact we weren't happy with the service or there lack of and just huffed saying it's our problem if we aren't happy.Very disappointing and we shan't be returning. I have sent a formal complaint and am waiting for a response.

Breakfast buffet apparently not in use as it’s quiet in the week we were told on arrival. I’m thinking that’s actually a great idea so the food is going to be cooked fresh obviously. Don’t make assumptions.. the bacon had clearly been cooked many hours earlier. The hash browns could have been used as doorstops. Might as well have had the buffet on, at least we could have seen the food before selecting it!! Staff did fresh bacon on request as the initial offering was inedible but you could see that, any basic chef could have seen the same. Pure laziness, bacon takes less than 5 minutes to cook so why cook enough for a whole shift at 6am?!

Food was shocking. Went their to let the kids have a play in the indoor play area. Cost me £10 odd for 2 hrs play for 3 children. Ordered food the starters were dreadful it was ment to be cheesey nachos, which were burnt and hard as rocks. It had hardly any cheese on and the salsa was just chopped up tomatoes. We sent the starters back and complained and asked them to send the mains out. The fish was overcooked and dry. The steak was ment to be medium and came rare and cold. Again I sent it back and asked for it to be cooked more. They decides to give me a fresh one and that was just the same rare and cold in the middle . So took a photo of the second one. Felt so sorry for the young waitress who didn't know why the food was coming out so bad. In hindsight I should have asked to speak to a manager but we decided just to come home and eat instead.Update: called and spoke to manager who was very pleasant and offered to resolve the matter I came back to the restaurant which I'm going to do now shortly.
