Lovely environment. Friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic food. We went for a post funeral buffet, the variety of food was incredible. Special dietary needs were catered for. Take out boxes and bags were provided to take the excess food home. Very impressed, would definitely recommend a visit.

Came for a friend's birthday and had a brilliant time. Staff on duty - Patrick, Ange and Callum - couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, from the minute we walked in they helped us to hide a cherry tree and put a cake in the chiller for us. They took photos and made the night just that little bit more special. Great value for money and a great place for a birthday meal.

Visited last sunday evening. Very good selection of meals and good value. I had the salmon sizzler and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. Staff were friendly and very attentive despite it being a busy time.

I visited the cherry tree on 18 th December with a few friends.looking at the drinks menu I saw there was Lanson champagne.I asked for a glass of this and the barman asked what is it ???.I said it’s champagne and on your drinks menu he said oh we don’t have it.I’m then ordered Mac and cheese and a side order of chips.the Mac and cheese arrived in less than 10 mins which you will probably think good service but I thought waiting and microwaved.it also had a bit of limp green leaves and not very nice garlic bread the chips never arrived.I’m just going to point out we had our wedding reception at the same place 47/years ago and a much nicer meal !

Visited today with my friend, we ordered food and drinks to the value of £30, my curry was cold and was exchanged but not that much hotter when I got it back, as I had poppadoms and dips I went to eat the chips also cold, don't think the nan bread had even been heated up at all! I told the waiting on staff and yes he apologised and said "he would inform the kitchen" sat chatting and finished my drink and absolutely no apology! You might have not give me a second look but look at the pub and ask yourself why it is empty !!My friends meal was cold but she didn't like to say anything!Safe to say we won't be returning!

A bit difficult getting a table, although we should of probably booked first. The food was nice & tasty, with quite big portions. The only downsides were:- the toilets that were up some mountainous stairs, and the staff, that were pleasant; but not very freindly.

Lovely service and food. Didn't have to wait long to order, or for my food to arrive. My only request is to stock more Chocolate Fudge Cake, as a member of our group had to unfortunately order something else 😉

This is not my first visit to the cherry tree but is the first disappointing one I'm sorry I don't normally give bad feedback however I have to say the burger crown was not a crowning glory as I expected sad 😢

Really enjoyed our visit to The Cherry Tree. Nice relaxed atmosphere and wasn't to busy. Got the choice of tables. Lots to choose from on the menu and all very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon.
