The Kitchen in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Just ordered on Uber eats, said we were in range etc, spent ages picking our order, sent it, they accepted. 10-15 mins later they randomly cancelled it with the excuse we are too far!! Well that's a LIE!!!Absolutely shocking and disgusting way to treat new customers!!! I'm diabetic and had already taken my medication ready!!! Disgusting!!!!

What more can I say than I’ve never had a bad experience. Food is always amazing and hot and we’ve always had a pleasant experience. But on the pricey side but definitely worth it in my opinion.

I'm writing this as I'm chewing the last mouthful of the bacon sausage cheese and beans baguette I bought from here.This is breakfast done correctly.The baguette had been placed onto the hot plate so it had a slight crunch to it on the ends, the bacon and sausage were cooked to perfection, and the presentation was spot on. Sometimes breakfast places put your fillings in like an Aldi checkout operator rendering your breakfast an absolute mess.This was spot on. 100% my new breakfast place.

The food was delicious and with generous portions beautiful quality and very clean the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Came in for usual dinner break and Cavos never fails to amaze me with his great customer service, lovely and polite bloke and serves up top food suiting everyone’s needs. Highly recommended. The lobby’s amazing as well as everything else on the menu. Can’t fault the place, lovely place for food.

The food from The Kitchen is home cooked and really tasty. Love the hot roast meat baps and the lobby and oatcakes. Always delivered quickly with a smile!

Trying to order breakfast on the phone but was told to hurry up by the man taking my order he said hurry up I have a customer waiting.i said I am a customer I was trying to order for 5 of us and trying to make sure its right ! Just lost 75 quid mate! I was a good customer... last order had missing oatcake when I told him he said you asked for one !? Why would I order one oatcake and pay 5 pound delivery ??

Absolutely disgusting service. Placed an order at 10.01am and called at 11.45am to find out where it was. The female member of staff proceeded to advise she was on her own and it hadnt even been started. I asked to cancel and for a refund. She put the phone down. I called back to be told that i was to take it up with her boss and sort it online - for her then to put the phone down again. I called back to be told 'to stop ringing she was trying to deal with a customer' swore at and put the phone down again, she then put the incoming calls to voicemail. Disgusting and shouldnt have contact with the public. Rude, aggressive and disgusting!

Just moved house so no food in thought I'd order breakfast at 11.20. Food didn't arrive until 1pm. The driver did apologise but thus isn't good enough for delivery when original expected time was 12-12.20. Food was hot and fresh the breakfast meal was nice unfortunately the bacon was black. I found it quite expensive for what it is when other offer a better deal ( we started looking at other places after the order was taking so long)
