Old fashioned pub, beams, fireplace, circa 18th Centuary. Serving Joules real ales, plus a selection of good wine, Lager and cider large selection of gin and other spirits. Does not serve food but you are welcome to bring your own in. Friendly staff and landlord usually a good atmosphear.Still the same.

Oldest pub in Newcastle, great little pub, nice selection of Joules ales and also the usual Carling, Guinness & Stowford press cider, nice real fire for winter and a beer garden / outdoor space to enjoy during the nice weather. A must visit if your in Newcastle

Oldest pub in town. Quiet and pleasant. Fair selection of ales and spirits. Karaoke and DJ at weekends. Quiet little pub during the weekday, perfect for a drink and a good book!Most pleasant and friendly bar staff.Certainly one of the better pubs in town.

Great night on the karaoke, lovely crowd. Be aware if you go that they only take cash payments, but there's a cash point round the corner so it's easy to get cash out.

Happy to be barred. Nice of you to tell me though considering i've been in 3 times since the incidense happened 3 ages ago. Rather than tell me you got your female bouncer on the door to let me know. If you had asked me I would have told you I was having major hip surgery at the time hence why I collapsed and other troubles but its your pub. Basically after 22 years of drinking in there I aren't stepping foot in the place again and can kiss my arse. Used to be a good pub years ago.

Fantastic place to drink and socialise. The landlord is a true gent and keeps a superb pint and cant praise him enough.

Tucked away in Newcastle under Lyme town centre, there a little old pub called The Old Bulls Head. Serving traditional cask ales from the local Brewery. In this pub you can find a open fire. Giving the place a warm relaxing feeling as you have a ale n a catch up with your friends.
