Comfortable pub with good beers. Friendly and welcoming staff make it a place to visit

Haven't been for a while and heard it had been taken over and changed but was still the same. Full of teenagers which isn't my thing. Nothing wrong with the pub just isn't my type of place.

The first time I came in here I got hassle from other customers. I still came back earlier in the day when it's quiet because they have a nice beer garden and they do Hop House 13 on tap, however the last 3 times I've been the beer garden has been locked up. I've asked the bar staff about it and they said it's down to the manager. The manager is never there and today is roasting hot sun and the beer garden is STILL locked up. It's disgraceful when there's a pandemic on and no excuse when the weather is like this. Not impressed at all.

Had a wake after my mother in law's funeral ,Rob and Amy are truly amazing ,so helpful kind and friendly .Beth was also super friendly and helpful ,thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to make the day run so smoothly , pub is a total gem .Neil and Lisa Glanville

Nice pub! Good selection of larger and different ales that change. Multiple tv's including one in a function room upstairs. They always have the footie on 🖒

Went to The Plough to watch the McGregor fight and it's one of the few pubs where you can just relax and have a decent drink. The problem with other pubs is that you get the feeling that there's always going to be trouble at some point, but The Plough seems to attract a friendly bunch of locals who just want to enjoy a drink and relax. It's my new local for the weekend footy!!

Great landlord and ĺandlady rob and amy. Very busy when we visit at weekends but always a lovely friendly atmosphere. Great choice of drinks.

Don't be deceived by the exterior or the smokers by the back door, was a little apprehensive parking up having not been before. Nice pub, very reasonably priced coffee.

Good selections of beer. Friendly bar staff. Nice decor and clean. Serves food but not eaten here yet.
