We went today for my cousin's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were fantastic and very attentive. The food and cakes were not only beautiful to look at but also tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

Nice but not outstanding. Had soup which tasted a bit like packet soup tbh. Cakes are all homemade, but the one we had was very sweet, especially the butter cream.I wanted a cappuccino but they only did filter coffee. As it says, it's a Tea Room, not coffee shop! LolIt's nice if you are out that way and you like traditional tea and cake, and somewhere a little bit different.

Been for lunch today with my mum. The service is absolutely brilliant and food was delicious. Highly recommend the tea room is gorgeous inside in a beautiful location.

Love this place. Nice breakfasts for meet up with a close friend. Staff are so friendly though. Food is lovely.

Once again we hosted my partners Nana for her birthday and it was such a delightful meal. The service is always great and with a smile and the food always lovely.I have been trying to eat vegan more often recently so one recommendation I would make would possibly be a vegan option for your menus. If it exists already no problem but it wasn’t clear when I pass perusing your menu. That is a small knit pick though in what was once again a stellar visit back to Whitmore tea Rooms.

Food was nice, but pricey. Service was very poor. No one checked on us and they'd forgotten one of our orders. It arrived 30 minutes after everybody else's food.

Enjoyed our festive afternoon tea on Saturday afternoon - but was a little surprised that no ventilation was available - no windows open or anything !! In these Covid times windows should be opened - the tea rooms was full with all ages a little surprised and not all staff wore face masks 🙉

What a lovely little find when going to another tea room and thus it was closed. It takes you back in time to how you'd have a posh tea... We're going back again for my wife's birthday in December..

We were late booking a table here, but we were made very welcome, there was a large choice of food and it was really lovely, the choices of tea and coffee were vast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it had a very nice atmosphere.

Been to the tea rooms a couple of times now, including today 26th June. Relaxed atmosphere, with 1940's music playing quietly in the background. Very clean, with a fast, friendly service from the always helpful staff. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes on offer for the afternoon tea service, which is what my Husband and I went for. Highly recommended.
