dobbies garden centre atherstone in North Warwickshire

We go to Dobbies quite a lot. At least twice a month, and every time we are there, the staff are friendly, helpful and always on hand to make your experience as perfect as possible.We have breakfast in the cafe at least once a month, and the food is reasonably priced, and great quality.

Great selection of articles for both garden and home/kitchen. Restaurant/cafeteria well maintained, good coffee and cakes. Outdoor play area for kids. All great although a bit expensive. If you are merely after flowers and plants then there are cheaper places with better choices.

Plants are always in good condition and staff very helpful. Such a cold day we were glad to get inside for a coffee. The club card our drinks were free. Lovely clean toilets too. A nice morning out.

Plenty to see and look at, huge selection on garden furniture, plants etc. Lovely cup of coffee but resisted the cakes and scones. We were there to sort out a fish tank and accessories for my granddaughter, really helpful staff and so knowledgeable. Really good experience.

Went straight to the restaurant for hot chocolate and cake. The drinks were lovely, but the chocolate cake only so, so. For the price, I'd expect it to be better. The service was excellent, but the tables were not clean.We looked around for plants and compost. I needed help to lift the compost onto the trolley, but staff wasn't around. I spotted a young member of staff, and waved to him for help, but he put his head down and walked off inside. I searched around and then found lovely, helpful man. He loaded 4 bags of compost onto the trolley and took it to the checkout for me, so I didn't have to struggle.I continued shopping, then went to the checkout and retrieved my compost, paid, and had help taking it to the car and loading it, also.What a wonderful service. The staff (apart from the one that ignored me), are friendly, professional, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend!!!

Wow, what a garden centre! I visited a few weeks ago when I was on holiday. A huge indoor space, with beautiful displays in the entrance area. Very clean toilets. Some of the indoor spaces looked a bit empty and underutilised but store could have been in the middle of a phase change, or store layout change. The cafe was busy, but obviously popular. The aquatic section was really well maintained and tidy throughout. Will be visiting again next time I'm in the area!

My first visit and I was pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of goods on sale. The staff were very helpful as we had several people in the group who were in wheelchairs. The staff in the cafe were very helpful , carrying our tray to the table and Nick was v obliging in the tree section. He offered to carry the trees to the till which was much appreciated

I took my daughter and granddaughter for an afternoon tea on Tuesday, it was delicious.There was a waitress called Helen she was so lovely, friendly & helpful to everyone.She definitely deserves a mention. Lovely to have nice staff looking after you.Highly recommend ⭐️

I don't think much to the garden centre as everything is overpriced. However, the cafe is lovely. We pay for a membership for the year that enables us to have 2 free hot drinks per month. So we used our 2 free drinks today and had 2 scones that were buy one get one free. Absolute bargain!

Lovely place to visit with family, perfect for shopping & bite to eat...play area for kiddies too and theyve got a few extra activities for Christmas..only reservation about the cafe was that the cake that I had ordered actually tasted abit stale unfortunately, felt like it had been sitting there for a while, wouldve gone back to let them know but was short for time so I left it, it was quite a shame as it looked delicious!!
