Family outing today the 5 of us. Staff were extremely helpful and professional and the food was yummy! All had Sunday lunches with no complaints and all had puddings which was also delicious! Second time here in the last month and will defo be spreading positive feedback to family and friends. Thanks again, see you soon :)

Beautiful meal for 4 this lunchtime. Best chocolate brownie ever. Staff friendly and welcoming. Venue was lovely. A missed gem. Having run my own pub kitchen I would definitely recommend

Good food great service. Really enjoyed our lunch time meal here with our car club friends. The chips were wonderful piping hot and a beautiful golden drown. Delicious 😋.

Not been here for such a long time and read reviews and thought lets go look sun is shining , 4 of us 2 kids 10 and 9 , arrived early for drinks and sat outside , checked the menu and ordered food for inside , food took 30 mins we went inside and food arrived hot fresh and looked and tasted great , the two members of staff couldnt of been more helpful and when able came over for a chat .Glad i came back and will be using more regular from now on .Give it a try folks🍺

I've given it 5 stars for the quality of the food and the helpful and friendly staff. However we stayed overnight on the campsite at the back of the pub, it badly needs some TLC. The grass need cutting, the bin area needs sorting, every bin was overflowing. It's such a shame, the site behind a pub like that has incredible potential

The food was ok, probably a little expensive for the quality as most meals were just an item and chips. Also the website menu is different to the actual menu in the pub, looks much more varied on the website. I'd highly recommend the nachos for a starter! Really nice and a big portion. Service was good and the bar at the front looked nice and cosy. Lovely building inside, especially what seemed to be an old converted barn felt nice and rustic.

Went for a drink and to see some live music ! There where quite a few of us, the glasses where dirty full of lipstick and filth.Toilets smelt so bad ! Really off putting !!Staff are rude and don’t have a clue what they are doing !On the plus side I got charged £6 for 4 drinks and some peanuts because the staff weren’t paying attention ..never going again ..EDIT ;Seems the manager can’t take criticism!!We were sat outside with the live music there was about 12 of us lolDefinitely had a miserable face on with the smell of those toilets 🤣😎thanks again

Worst meal ever lots to offer but no delivery.Me and my partner tried to have a romantic meal for our anniversary and it couldn't have been any worse. We turned up and was told to sit on a dirty table, to which we complained straight away. We were then asked to wait in the bar for 30 minutes for a clean table. Finally we were seated, then not given any menus. We waited another 15 minute then I finally asked for a menu. After the wait time on ordering, we only ordered a main meal, I ordered a sirloin steak and salad which was very over cooked and the salad was wilted like it had been sat under the light for age's. My partner order fish and chips which I could have bought better quality from asdas cafe.Very disappointed in the customer service we received, the worst place we have ever been to and completely ruined our anniversary meal.Definitely would not return to this place as I would never spend any more of my money there. On the plus side the decor of the restaurant was quite nice, shame about the food.

Loved the open roof space and feel of the pub, loved the shelf of toiletries in the bathroom, great details. We had just a snack, a sharer between us. All the usual suspects on the plate, a nice range of food. 4 breaded mushrooms, 4 onion rings, 4 mozzarella cheese sticks, 4 pieces of chicken however only 2 prawns and 2 of the smallest pieces of garlic bread. All very obviously frozen as is at most places and deep-fried. Tiny green salad leaf garnish and slices of fridge dry cucumber. Not sure how much it cost. The customer service was very good, friendly, smiling and helpful, disappeared after food was served, no table check or deserts or more drinks offered. Would I recommend it, no, will we go back, probably not, did we enjoy it sadly no, was it food yes. Could be a great pub, loads of space and massive potential. Looks like the kind of place where you want to sit by the fire and eat, drink and cuddle your loved one. We really wanted it to be that. They have camping and small outdoor events like a classic car meeting which shows the potential for great business acumen however the quality was lost on the food, presentation and lack of follow through on the customer service.

Turned up on a cider festival, place was packed. Had their famous carvery, plain, simple, not over cooked and fresh. Service was very welcomed by our lovely, short hostess. Brilliant.Have returned several times and it's always great service and meals
