Indian Lounge in North Warwickshire

I had 3 starters as a sort of tapas style meal. The best eay I can describe it is SPECTACULARY average. The seekh kebab was HARD, the chicken was dry. The only redeeming dish was the fish and it was tiny.No idea what the the people of Coleshill are used to but a lack of options is not a reason to give this trash 5 stars.

Me, my Nan and my mom went out tonight for a curry for my moms belated birthday meal.We normally go to the Rajrani on the Coleshill High-street, but it’s closed on Monday’s so we chose to go to the Indian lounge. ‘WHAT A MISTAKE’They seated us, then came over to take a drinks order and we asked for popadoms, after 5 minutes they then came straight over to ask for mains (knowing we didn’t even look at the menu) I wouldn’t mind but there was literally 3 table when we arrived so they weren’t busy?!Then the member of staff with glasses came over to to take our order for mains, I asked for a chicken sagwala with extra spinach, my nan asked for a garlic chilli chicken Balti with chopped chillis, he rolled his eyes and said ‘the chillis come chopped anyway’ and my mom asked for a madras sauce with extra coriander he replied “why don’t you go in the kitchen and cooked it yourself”.After taking our order he went over to the other members of staff to tell them the order and slammed the piece of paper down where he wrote our order. This made us all feel uncomfortable.But when our food came out it was lovely & we did enjoy it but I seriously think they need to learn more customer service skills or clearly not work in the industry as I work within the industry myself.Next time, I won’t come here and I will continue to use the rajrani where they value their customers and actually have a conversation and SMILE!

Indian lounge goes above and beyond the norm in terms of flavour and quality .I have been indulging in Indian food for many many years now and have found an absolute gem .We do not use any other Indian restaurant or takeaway other than Indian lounge since we fell upon this highly passionate takeaway .The flavours are immense and are not full of tomatoes or onions etc … plus all the other extras that take away from juice and naaam bread duckable meaty ndian that you have ordered .My wife orders a biryani which is sublime .They are quite a personal service and after a while understand what you require .As for price …. You get what you pay for …… I pay for meaty quality it’s a personal touch 😁

Excellent food, good service and a reasonable price

The Indian Lounge is very relaxed, nice food. This evening, my curry was too spicy, not the Indian Lounge fault, my taste is changing and I need to order a less hot curry.
