Really great portions, good value and great quality. Understandably very busy then calmed down. Excellent staff too!

Really good food, portions and service and two lunchtime courses for under eleven quid. Most of the food is traditional, classic English with a few additional modern specials always available . It's always very busy so best call and book in advance. Sundays are booked three weeks in advance. It attracts the more mature clientele. That's all you need to know.

Really cosy place for lunch. Good range of home cooked food with 2 courses starting at £11.90 and 3 courses for £15.90. Selection of specials on the blackboard. Open lunchtimes from 12.00 suggest booking to get a table.

Popular place. Been before and Sunday meals were just as good as always.plenty on the plate. Great service always made to feel welcome. Lovely to see families out enjoying time together as well. Hope to be back again really soon.

Great VFM and very good English pub fayre. Excellent service too. Only negative was poor selection of lo or no alcohol beers. Please note that the market is now full of options far better than the non descript Heineken Zero.

As a veggie, the choices were excellent (even if our waitress was unaware they served the dish I ordered!)The service was attentive without being obtrusive but very welcoming.The prices were reasonable (but ignore the prices on the website, it hasn't been updated.) Expect to pay about £1 - £1.50 per dish more than shown online.Would certainly make a return visit.

We never have a bad meal here. Lovely to sit outside if the weather is favourable. Very nice staff, great food with very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if you’re near Fillongley!

We went for a meal tonight 4th September 2021 as our son is leaving for University . Wow the meal was beautiful Great value and so delicious Thankyou to the chef for a wonderful meal. Service was Amazing lovely friendly staff . Service was so good didn't have too wait for your drinks . So efficient all the staff was. Thankyou for a wonderful meal out tonight great atmosphere really was. We will be back. This was the first time back since the start of the covid pandemic . And we had a wonderful time

Excellent food and very well priced. Lovely friendly atmosphere and all staff were very polite. Will be going back soon and would highly recommend. Keep it up guys!!
