The Fleur de Lys Inn in North Warwickshire

This was my first visit to this establishment and I was most impressed. The lunch menu had a good choice of meals. I enjoyed my Beef, wild mushroom and Stilton pie. It was full of very tasty ingredients and the pastry was perfect. It was served with chips and a portion of mixed seasonal vegetables.The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. All in all, a most enjoyable place to eat.

DISGRACEFUL SERVICEArrived at 18:45, our reservation time. Everyone ignored us, until eventually a lady with green hair came over asked our booking. We brought our dog and didn't realise you had to state this on the booking as we believed the pub was dog friendly as have been multiple times before with dog. She said no space in the dog area even though we had come through there and there were multiple tables free and they stop taking orders for food at 7pm so no more reservations were to come in. My partner took the dog back and I waited at our table. The lady said I would have to order now as kitchen closes at 7, so I said ok my partners taking the dog back so we will as soon as possible. She said no the kitchen won't make your food so you need to find out what he wants now, so no problem I phoned him found out what he wanted. I then waited for 20 minutes, no one came over and the original lady with green hair ignored me. Finally after 20 minutes she came over said you can have drinks but no food kitchens closed. I said Ive been ready and no ones come over and she said not my problem kitchen closed I told you, you should have got up to the bar. I said no one told me to do that I was told table service she just shrugged and said not my problem we've been busy so you cant have food.I have never in my life been spoken to in the attitude and the way I was spoken to for no reason she told me I had to order so I was ready and no one came over. I spoke to the manager who just didn't seem to know what to say and said the kitchen is still open so did we want to stay and order food but at this point after the way we had been spoken to we couldn't wait to get out of there. Honestly, cant believe the experience we had we have been so many times and has always been lovely but will not go back again for a long time after today!

Quintessential English country pub on the Stratford Canal. Lovely setting and the pub has a great selection of pies!

Highly recommend a visit here. Staff are great, food and beer was too. The pies are superb. We booked a table for a reunion and felt relaxed and able to eat, drink and chat at our own pace

Amazing food, lovely veggie and kids options. Staff are really friendly and attentive and service is very quick too! Lovely place to sit in or outside and great little park for kids too. We'll definitely be back soon.

Delicious food and great service. There is are amazing. I had roast pork dinner on this visit which was delicious. Very reasonable price, good size, delicious portions. Nice setting in the countryside by the canal. Traditional English pub with open fires.

Good food, and a good atmosphere. There are plenty of gluten free options available, and it's a dog friendly place. I definitely recommend calling early for a reservation, as it gets busy on the weekend! Four stars simply because the "roast pork" Sunday lunch option was grilled, not roasted, and the gravy was a little watery.

Good spot in country side. Food is great. Staff is great. Prices are a bit high for the quantity but is acceptable.

Can't fault this old rustic pub. Not been since pre covid until last week but very good food, reasonable price, good beer & lovely large outdoor canopy covered area too. Will be back soon👍

Great looking pub with an excellent beer garden. The cheesy chips have been great on the three times I've been. The beer has always been excellent, though not a great selection of ale.
