Visited this pub due to a birthday celebration, staff were friendly an a great day was had by all of us I think. We came from out of the area. Lovely quaint pub

Fabulous manager and staff, know how to pour a pint. Great atmosphere, lovely garden and food.

Not impressed - The pub is now ran by some unsual character's! When we arrived, the doors were locked with people inside (landlord's friends) What they were upto, I am not sure. Environment just felt strange, and not too good, it was like you were abstract to their own private party.... Music was mainly tacky, and way too loud for a quiet Sunday night drink. You couldn't hold a conversation in there...

Under new management, the pub advertises that Sunday dinner is on the menu. This place is big inside and can cope with volume. A choice of rooms to enjoy a standard range of beers. Parking outside and the beer garden is good in Summer to enjoy the sound of nature.
