An authentic Lil cafe/restaurant that sells the old stick to your ribs food. Loads of war memorabilia decorates the place and 40s music transports you to an era long gone. Great food, staff and ambience and would thoroughly recommend. I don't think you can book but it does get busy at times. Free parking round the corner at the leisure centre and nearby Aldi and Co-Op.

It's good for Breakfast and lunch cause I'm cooking

Lovely place, friendly staff and great cake and milkshake today was my first visit but my Husband often goes in on Saturday with the Girls for milkshake and they love looking at all the interesting things in there and the Tea and Earl grey very good. Love that a custard cream is waiting on the saucer with it. It's a full of character place I love that chairs are all different and tables. Relaxing change from run of the mill chains like Costa.

Delicious breakfast. We went round the corner to the butcher after to buy some bacon to take home.Lovely decor with a wartime theme. Nice cosy environment.Very good value also.

Fabulous themed cafe. Food and service excellent

This is a fantastic place to eat. Don't be fooled in thinking it is a place where only a certain age go for their breakfast or lunch. It is a place you can go to no matter what your age. They serve the everyday jacket potatoes and sandwiches but it's not what people flock for. Try one of their locally produced sausages with mash peas or beans. A home made pie with mash or even a spam fritter. Perhaps washed down with dandelion and burdock or a camp coffee. You won't regret giving it a try and experiencing the 1940's in vision, sound and taste.

Brilliant. Love the war-time decor. Some really interesting items. I also think it would be a great place to bring an older person suffering memory problems as so much to prompt long term memories.Great home-cooked 'comfort' food, reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Always love it here! Food always feash and honest. Amazing decor and very polite happy staff, menu selection is vast and yummy with smaller meals if your not so hungry. They offer a children's menu and even breakfasts in the morning but you have to get in there quick once they sell out there gone. It's a very lovely place and worth the money

A lovely cafe in 1940's guise. There is a lot of period touches, homely, served at the table and good food and drinks at good prices. Friendly and great atmosphere. My first visit and I was impressed, I want to go again when visiting Atherstone.

We have visited the larder a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. We initially visited because they allow well behaved dogs in. Each visit they have given excellent service and the food, different choices each visit, has also been cooked and served excellently. Each visit they have not forgotten our fur babies either and have provided water for them without prompting. We deffinatly recommend them and will be back very soon. Well done to all the staff. Xxx
