An oak-framed entrance canopy leads into the pub. Inside, has been brought into the 21st century whilst retaining its traditional country pub feel and original features like beams, flagstones, exposed brick, stone walls and fireplaces. An impressive, large wood-burning pizza oven is installed in the centre of the dining area where fresh pizzas are prepared and cooked. The starter I had was sticky chicken wings, they was OK but not a lot of meat on them . The main course was the pork belly and that was fantastic .

Nice place, lovely beer garden, homemade pizzas and other good food - most a little different from the normal pub grub. Went for some sharing plates today for a change, Antipasti, Gravadlax and chicken wings, very nice!

Food is top notch! Couldn't recommend this place enough for people in the local area and beyond to come and visit! Definitely my go to place for a guaranteed fanastic meal now hands down!

Went today for a birthday meal ,hadn't booked no tables in restaurant ,so we were offered a table in the bar in a little nook ,no problem ,food was excellent I had Seabream with roasted sweet potatoe and an orange infused green salad with green beans absolutely gorgeous ,Phil had roast belly pork honey I fused roasted potatoes and an amazing sauceHighly recommend this place food great ,great price staff very friendly we will go back again and book a table next time , not that eating in the book in the bar distracted from the experience

Remember this pub from years ago it got taken over a good pub ruined by the last two owners The people who own ? run it have made it into a good place again nicely done out and it is pleasant place to visit plus the food is very good with the added additional of a wood pitza oven very attentive staff and helpful plus money off food and bottles of wine on certain days Check the days

Quite welcoming I’m still on the fence if I’ll make regular. Recently Modernised. Food looks good although haven’t tried. They have a very large permanent BBQ so have high hopes for the summer

Dropped in without booking on Sunday and although the restaurant was full, they were more than happy for the 4 of us to eat in the bar section. Ordered the Roast pork and have to say its the best Sunday lunch i've had for a while. Great selection of Beer too !!!! Worth a 5 star review.
