The rooms are very nice and have recently just been built during covid as a project. The only downside in the area is no parking, or at least no parking untill after 6pm. You will need to use the cattle market car park which is free from 6pm till 8am.

Friendly staff and very willing to offer help with our query. No food unfortunately, due to renovations. Overall pleasant with a good atmosphere. Would have stayed longer if we weren't driving

Just returned from a fabulous family Sunday lunch. 10 adults and 5 children of varying ages. Great food, fantastic service who couldn't do enough. Thank you to the chef Tracey and the other lady who was so helpful. All of us had a great experience and left feeling very full. Would love a return visit to sample the homemade chicken pie! π

Very nice meal.I only had a starter as I wasn't that hungry.I had prawn cocktail and it was a fairly decent size. I wouldn't have managed another morsel

I was on a business trip and stopped in for a pint and a bite to eat. This is what I would class a 'proper community boozer' - lots of locals in chatting about local gossip etc, very friendly service and the pie and chips I ate was very decent and served with a smile. Thumbs up from me; it was just what I was looking for and I will certainly be back.

We tried this purely because we could not get into the Blue Boar. What a pleasant surprise it was the service was excellent and the food could not have been any better well presented and cooked perfect. Well done. Will certainly be using again.
