We was met with friendly service from start to finish food was absolutely amazing. We had our dog with us and they had dog treats and water bowls on hand , also a very bored 6 year old they showed us the children's activity station filled with games and colouring items ☺ .

Have been visiting the acorn on and off for years, but have seen a real change for the better in recent weeks. Laura has made the place so warm and welcoming and a place people really enjoy going to. Long may it continue.

Reading the snazzy menu gave me great expectations however they weren't met. I ordered an inferno burger with an extra fillet. No where on the menu did it say the fillet is substituted for 2 chicken fingers. They were rubbish quality, chicken fingers with a bottle of chilli sauce poured over them. So a grand total of 6 chicken fingers in a bun. The fish and chips was also atrocious over cooked and fried to deathMight be good if you're drunk but people with actual taste buds best to avoid

Came in for a quiet drink after work. Shortly after I realised they had bingo on so I joined in and I can say what great fun it was to take part in the bingo will be coming along again to play bingo

Friendly staff.Decent food & drink prices.Building lovely.Ambience much improved with better seating, shame the 3 fireplaces are not used otherwise 5 stars. In recent months the pub feels more clean and tidy. Landlady friendly and takes time to make you feel welcome.More guest real ale please - the 49er superb, but something similar in quality/strength would be good.

With storm Eunice blowing a gale outside, the sanctuary of the Acorn was great in a warm ambiance. The fire was well stoked and the staff working hard on a busy late Friday afternoon, it was great place to be with the wind howling outside.

Very welcoming environment and the lady who served us was very warm and friendly. A really nice place with a good menu selection. Meals were absolutely delicious and although it seemed everyone ordered at the exact same time, the kitchen obviously coped very well as food was delivered exactly as ordered and very promptly. People sometimes forget the back of house staff, but our experience was really good both by those we did engage with, but all supported by a clearly well run kitchen. We will definitely be visiting again. Absolutely great food!

I love this pub. It's real ale's are kept really well - not a huge selection but Pedigree bitter is always on and Hobgoblin Gold is usually on (my personal favourite) Guinness, Strongbow Cider, Stella Artois and Carling lagers are on draught too. They have a great outside area, with plenty of seating and covered seating too. They have a quite extensive menu with rump steaks, gammon steaks, curries, pies etc.I believe that they are now beginning to serve vegetarian & vegan dishes too. They serve some lovely puds too. With the Black forest ice-cream Sundae being my absolute favourite 😋.They can also cater for larger parties. On a bit of a sombre note, they are just half a mile up the road from Nuneaton crematorium, and they often cater for post-crematorium groups. They have a downstairs toilet for those of us who struggle with the stairs, designated disabled parking spaces and plenty of parking for the more able bodied. They welcome dogs inside and out and there are drinking bowls skattered around for our canine friends. The staff are the best part of this pub and always welcome you with a smile or whitty comment if you've become a regular.Basically, give this place a go.
