Cedar Tree in Nuneaton and Bedworth

omg the food here was out of this world definitely going again ....staff was friendly and welcoming from arrival to leaving.

I was really surprised by this restaurant. We needed somewhere to eat with visiting family and our usual place was closed on a Monday. We booked a table online for 5 people, two hours before hand. The building looks neat outside but inside was spacious and homely with great decor. We all had the Monday meal deal which included a starter and main or main and dessert for under £20 each. We also took advantage of the discounted wine. The food was to restaurant standards with good portion sizes. The staff were helpful and attentive. I can't think of any negatives.We didn't have any young children with us so I don't really know how family friendly this restaurant is but for our adult party of five it was perfect.

Celebrating our anniversary with the kids. Warm welcome and delicious food. The atmosphere was fantastic and the decor is gorgeous. The kids enjoyed making their own pizzas and I would definitely recommend the morrocan lamb!

Visited Ego At The Cedar for a quick lunch and I must say I wasn’t disappointed, very clean both inside and outside, contemporary decorations etc, the staffs were very welcoming and quick to seat you. The menu is well designed to provide variety of choices starting from starters, mains and desserts.

Met up with friends for the first time post covid, I called the restaurant to add my seat as a surprise and they were more that accommodating. We were the last ones there, enjoyed all of our food and drinks. Service was with a smile and all the staff were friendly. It was a Friday night so was busy but we'd have likely ordered more drinks if there were more check ins from our server. Will definitely visit again!

Baby shower. Had an amazing time here today. We chose afternoon tea for 16 guests. We were lucky enough to have an area to ourselves, which made it even more special. The food was delicious and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The manageress was really accommodating and made us feel really welcome. I would highly recommend Ego for any occasion.

Went to Ego in Kenilworth first, really liked it so we thought we'll give the Nuneaton one a go. What a good idea it was! Very nice staff and the food was delicious! The have various offers (fixed price menu, lunch menu etc) and something for everyone. The place looks really nice too.

Fairly late booking for table of 4 during afternoon.Friendly welcome. Table was ready (arrived 15mins early) and the business seemed busy.All looked clean and the service was attentive and the food was really nice.Great thing for kids, there is a make your own pizza which is really interactive for kids. Ideal for kids aged 3 to 12.It was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed our meal.

Went on a Monday night with friends. Good presentation very good except for a cracked bowl. It was my friend's plate, she was so tired and frazzled she had no energy that day to make a fuss. I told the waiter, discreetly, but he just walked away. I have waited on tables before and would NEVER let a plate out on the floor like that!I was disappointed, but because of my friend feeling fragile I didn't pursue the matter....I will not be going back.

Setting is beautifully, staff where lovely and welcoming, until our last round of drinks, we ordered them, had to wait a long time , then the Young man with a blonde pony tail,Has served us all drinks and had been great....., he just dumped our last drinks our table, on a tray, didn't say a word to either of us.Food looks great. It is just that, looks great, but it mass produced, average restaurant food.Had no major issues. But at same time, food was average. Looks a 8/10 has flavour of 5/10. It was a great evening out. Because I got to take Wifey out and spend some time away from home it was absolutely not the food or service.Would I go back.?.. yes. We will always Try again. Cocktails I must say, made to order and where spectacular. Best part of the evening. .staff who served us at an average pace at on table 8. Know who did well and didn't! Staff should do too.It's so very close to being exceptional food. Just held back by spec dishes. So chef. Thank you. Staff, 99.9% thank you. 1%- do better my friend.We shall see if we come back. Never easy never.
