Good atmosphere from start to finish. Extremely child friendly. Only issue I had was the Chef in the kitchen forgot about our order or misplaced the food order ticket so was waiting a long time.BUT having said that staff front of house were very apologetic and gave us a drink on the house to say sorry.

I walked down to The Chase just the other night. They had a "Quiz night" just starting. It was really quite busy. The clientele were mainly about 18 - 25 years old. They were all very well behaved and I didn't notice anyone "The worst for drink".I was drinking IPA real ale. It was at a very reasonable price and was a good pint 👍.The bar staff were all cheerful and helpful too.I will be going back, but I'll be going an hour or so earlier so that I can try out their 'very extensive' food menu. The food looks to be a reasonable price too, with most meals being between £8 and £14. The £14 meals were for things like an extra large mixed grill. I believe that an 8oz gammon steak with chips, peas and either a fried egg or a pineapple ring was priced at either £7.99 or £8.99. I also remember liking the look of the "Eaton mess" ice-cream Sundae, priced at £5.19.So, yes I will be going back to The Chase.

We visited on Saturday, was very busy due to the rugby but was fabulous regardless.Nice decor in the pub, very friendly atmosphere. The food was fab, I had a pie and my husband had a fish and chips. Both were presented lovely and tasted just as good! Very good value for money too, was able to eat and have a few drinks for under £30 for the both of us!The staff were amazing, although very busy provided excellent service and nothing was too much trouble, thank you to Rosie and Charlie, who were so lovely (and one of them were dressed very 70s, gave me a refreshing blast from the past - I’m quite old as you can tell!)Overall will be returning in the future and was a lovely meal out for us both.

Came with my family at around Midday yesterday, firstly me and my family was greeted by the bar by two lovely people and a young lady found us a table. The decor in the restaurant is mismatched , and upbeat. I especially like all the little historical items about Nuneaton and the building. I got speaking to one of the ladies, she said her name was rosy about all the history of the building and she was telling us all about the old owner of the house before it became a pub. Fascinating! And impressive that she knew all that.I had a gammon, was absolutely fabulous. As a chef myself I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the food. My partner had a Sunday beef, and my children had kids meals. No complaints and we all left with full tummies.Really friendly staff all around, thank you to Rosy and Jemma, and my kids learnt something! Never thought I’d see the day. Definitely will be returning.

Food is great, compliments to the chef. Our server was lovely, she gave me a card but not her name, she was short with black hair and glasses. Absolutely lovely and couldn’t do more for us

Excellent value for money. A very high level of customer service achieved. All the staff were exceptional from reception to bar staff, waiters, waitresses and Chefs. A special thanks to Ann who looked after us perfectly. See you all again soon.

Lunch with wife & mother. Mum had small rump steak & chips, wife had lasagne, I had beef & ale pie with chips. All three were excellent, particularly impressed by the pie, a proper pie, not one in a dish with a lid. Pub chips are very variable but these are right up there with the best. Abbot Ale also excellent, and not chilled as so often happens. Special thanks to the lovely Rosie.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2021. I cannot fault the service or the staff, so attentive from the moment we arrived, to the time we left. We were never made to feel unwelcome. Now, I would like to talk a bit about the food. Our first night, we had the Hunters Chicken. It was okay but that was as good as I can give it. The chicken was 2 very small pieces with a bit of bacon and small amount of cheese on one piece only, the other was plain and very dry. I've had better in other establishments. The second night was Fish and Chips which was very nice, have this and you won't be disappointed. The third and last night was Lasagne with Dirty Waffles. The lasagne was very nice but the waffles came as chips, the topping was a little on the burnt side and they were served in a cold dish and were warm at best.We stayed and paid for B&B, something we don't normally bother with but wanted to treat ourselves. The room was great, clean and tidy and well stocked with everything needed. Normally in other hotels, we end up short of this and that but not The Chase. Now for the breakfast. This is served until 9am and we went down at 8 to 8.15 each morning. Despite our arrival time not being the end of service, on the first and second morning the majority of items had not been replenished, we had to ask for white bread to toast, there was only blackcurrant jam, there was only 2 croissant on a plate and no other pastries. The hot food was nice enough. The third morning was everything you'd expect, the was pastries galore, muffins, brown and white bread, all flavours of yogurt. It was so much better than the previous day's.Now the main reason for staying at The Chase was to celebrate a belated birthday from May 2020. We had tickets to do a factory tour of the Triumph factory. I must say that was an amazing experience and I would recommend it. This is based in Hinkley and is just 3.5 miles up the road. We also went down to the National Motorcycle Museum which is 35 minutes away.To sum up, a great stay with warm welcoming staff, within easy reach of shops and museums and I hope your food meets your expectations.
