Corner House in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Visited this weekend for some pizzas. Service was outstanding the waitress Amy was a breath of fresh air so chirpy and happy it made the whole experience of eating out pleasurable unlike other places with miserable waiting staff. What an asset to your team she is. Made a fuss of the kids too.

Friendly warm staff greeted us at the door. Within a few minutes we were seated. Drinks order taken and received in good time. Order for food all good and delivered by friendly staff. They checked everything was good during the meal. Card machine came in good time when asked to pay the bill. A friendly goodbye for staff. A very pleasant meal and the food was lovely too. Well done Corner House we will be back.

Honestly such a lovely meal! We weren’t sure what to expect with being a large party of 20 (we’ve had bad service/meals before in other places) but it was amazing from start to finish! Meals were delicious, staff were lovely and made paying so much easier with breaking our group into sections and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be coming back!

Great service from staff. Keeley was our server and she did so well as she was the only waitress working. The place was very quiet when we arrived and soon became busier at lunchtime, but she managed all the tables and was very prompt at bringing us drinks, bringing out our meals, clearing the table, taking more drink orders and orders for dessert. The menu had plenty of choice for all and some lovely veggie and vegan options and the food was lovely. We plan to go back very soon.

Excellent service. Our server was Tom. Very helpful and polite. Good was lovely. Not really 241 as you pay a lot per main meal, but still worth the money.

My wife and I took the family to the Corner House at 16.15 on Christmas Eve for the Festive meal. The family are mostly from Colombia where they celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve so this was a special meal. The starters and puddings were OK but all the main meals were very poor quality, I believe not freshly cooked but seemed to be warmed up. The turkey was sliced processed turkey not cut from a freshly cooked turkey. Our daughters cod was too dry to eat. The beefburger for one of our grandchildren was so hard and tasteless it was inedible.Over the years I have had many good meals there and was expecting a much better meal than we had on this occasion. At no point did anyone ask if our meals were OK.Given that the place was virtually empty, the service was very poor having to wait quite a long time between courses, from when we arrived it took over four hours.I now know why it was the only place where they were not fully booked.You can call your turkey what you want but it was not cut from a freshly cooked turkey, it was at least boned and rolled.Nobody, at any time, asked us if our food was OK. I will repeat that the main courses were very poor, I note you make no mention of the dry inedible cod and the hard, tasteless burgers the children could not eat.Had I said anything to you at the time I fail to see how you could have done anything about it, your service was so slow.It was a special night for us and for me to make complaints about the food would have spoiled our night even more.

We booked to have Christmas dinner here as we love eating here and always have a great experience. I was due to have a baby on 27th December, so when we booked I mentioned that we might have to cancel last minute, depending on whether the baby arrives, etc.Our baby was born on 23rd December and we were still in hospital late Christmas Eve so my partner went into the corner house to explain that we wouldn’t be able to make our booking anymore. The gentlemen who my partner spoke to was absolutely fantastic and completely understanding of the situation. He offered us a full refund which we were extremely grateful for, (especially with a new baby!).We have always loved coming to the Corner House and always recommend it to friends and family. We look forward to coming back again soon, with our little boy 😊.

Walk-in for dinner. Plenty of tables available.Waitress arrived to take drinks order within 5 minutes. Ordered food at same time.Drinks arrived after about 5 minutes - all good.Food took another 15 minutes to arrive but not a problem for us.Chicken Tikka was tasty, rice tasty but a little dry.Hunters chicken was tasty, chips nice a crispy.Relaxing meal, friendly staff.Will return
