It took a while to be seated (they need more staff). I recommend that you check your order, others have pointed out missing items from meals, and we experienced this too with a missing black pudding from a mixed grill. We all enjoyed the mixed salad, but having to wait for staff to pick the salad for each of us was a bit insulting. I enjoyed my fried frozen chips, breaded chicken and heated pre-packaged Belgium waffle, but a few others at our table were less impressed with their orders.

We decided to celebrate my dad's 76th birthday with you , unfortunately left completely disappointed . Six of us attended and only 2 enjoyed their meals although not very warm. The manager and server were extremely helpful and apologised and discounted our meal but to arrive at 7pm and run out of rotisserie chicken when we would have all ordered this as our first choice was again disappointed to say the least. Communication to the kitchen didn't happen when we asked for our mains to be delayed whilst when enjoyed our salads causing our meals that were wrong the first time to sit in the window for 10 minutes , our steaks were unedable and the chicken was dry. We didn't leave our birthday cake to celebrate in the restaurant as we wanted to leave asap. We couldn't find anyone to clear the table paid and left.

We visited the Harvester last night for a meal and our waitress for the evening was the very helpful and bubbly Mia. There were a couple of small problems with our starters which were immediately rectified by Mia and Tim her Manager. All in all a very good experience with plenty to choose from on the menu. It's not a patch on what it used 2 be. Still dont let you help yourself to the salad. And what is available on the salad has massively been reduced. Purely 2 save money. Food is OK. But no better than the average food chains that are in all the pubs. Went Wednesday had 2 send the meal back as it was burnt. Unfortunately won't be back for a long time.

Food was excellent. We were served by Fiona. It was lovely to see service with a smile. She is truly a credit to your business 👍🏻😊

I'm not usually one to complain but the quality wasn't there. I ordered the simply salmon and it tasted terrible. The sauce came out in a takeaway plastic container and the mash was cold. My boyfriend ordered the mixed grill but it missed the chicken, black pudding and egg. This was after waiting for nearly 2 hours

Excellent, as usual. Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here. Good value and great service.

Came here with my work colleagues and we all really enjoyed it! Jo was amazing with her service and very informative. Keep up the good work!! Good selection of Vegetarian & Vegan food & the food tastes delicious!

This restaurant is definitely better than your standard pub grub. For coeliacs my fiance said he is impressed by the thought gone into puddings and not just the other courses. The reason I give it 4 stars is that for the price I have had better meals. That does not mean that this restaurant will be a disappointment. It's just I have been lucky enough to eat in so many fantastic restaurants that it just misses the 5 star mark. However, me and my fiance will definitely return. It is a must try for coeliacs in the area.
