Very lovely hotel, very friendly host (thank you for the Indian reccomendation!), and a very tasty breakfast! Clean and spacious room with all we needed, could easily spend more than one night here:-)

While visiting my mother, sister & hometown from Cornwall I booked a table for Sunday Lunch. It was like being invited into someones beautiful historic home. The invite extended into the Bar area for drinks by friendly staff then into an equally beautiful dining room. I personally could have eaten everything on the menu! All 3 of us had different items which were all available. The food was excellent and my Bread & Butter Pudding was absolutely awesome

We had 2 nights here at the weekend, lovely quiet place to stay very near the town centre. A lovely cooked breakfast included too, very good value for money.

Stayed over night in Room 10, which is a lovely room, loads of space, very quiet and immaculately clean. Breakfast was excellent and loads of choice. We had Sunday lunch with family and OMG it was to die for.... The meat was beautiful, the veggies perfect and don't even start me on the pavlova stunning just stunning.... I cannot recommend this place enough

I stayed here in Oct when my aunt passed away. They couldn't have been nicer. They let me check in early, even though they weren't ready for customers yet, and let me get settled before heading to the morgue. The rooms were lovely, clean and welcoming. Even though the restaurant wasn't open that night, the owner went out of his way to make me food (as I was pregnant and nauseous and just want something homemade). I really appreciated their hospitality, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Also very reasonably priced.
