I’m really disappointed with my experience at the fuzzy duck, me and my friend went for a meal and we were really looking forward to it as we had heard a lot of good things about it. We got a starter each, I had scallops, for what it was it was a very small portion and the scallops weren’t very nice at all, they weren’t even that hot, then for my main I had the seafood linguine, the pasta was nice however the squid was chewy and rubbery and the muscles weren’t nice at all, there wasn’t something right as I had to go to the toilet constantly after my meal, for what it was and how many people say good things about it, I was very disappointed. However the service and staff were lovely, the food did take a while to come out to us tho considering that there wasn’t many people in the restaurant

I am really really disappointed with the food I had last night. First of all it took a very long time for it too come considering there was wasn’t many people in at the time. I had the Cajun chicken burger which came out cold and didn’t taste very nice much. Just didn’t the meet standards that I was expecting after hearing very good things about the place, just felt very cheap!

Nice tasting cocktail, interior design and good choice of music. However the main let down was the service. I felt as though I wasn't welcome and the staff seemed upset by something throughout the evening. When I asked about what I should do with an additional component coming with a cocktail the reply was abruptly "you can do what you want with it" making me feel silly, belittled and unappreciated for the purchase I had made of a ÂŁ9 cocktail.

So I'd like to say I'd like to visit this place in a less hectic time. We visited today for Christmas Dinner. Was for me and my wife.ÂŁ80 per person x3 courses.( No problem paying this on Christmas day poor sods working because we're too lazy to cook for ourselves)The food was bang on. The beef was cooked with perfection.Camembert starter was brilliant too.Food was basically faultless. The venue and decor are fantastic.Unfortunately what was a let down was the all round service. We were late seated after turning up well in advance. The waiting time between course's was very, very frustrating. We was there for 2hrs 30 minsWe were asked by a member of staff if we were waiting for something. ( we were waiting for our pudding )The service from staff was inconsistent. We weren't sure how to order drinks ( go to bar or ask staff )I think much organising and service improvements are needed ( maybe being Christmas day was more challenging than normal. So I'm more forgiving )On the way out we asked if they were OK to serve us a drink. ( Baring in mind a good selection of customers only being served their main we fancied a swift one before leaving )The answer we were met with was errrrrrrm no not really. We were disappointed as we wanted to try one of the visually appealing cocktails. It's a place we'd love to visit in normal circumstances to get a better judgement for sure.

Fantastic! Best Sunday roast dinner around the location. Large quality portions, no space for crumble with vanilla custard which looked equally tempting.Went again today 2021-11-07. Added more photos. So good. Quality and Taste is as good as ever - excellent.

Lovely place for a drink, breakfast or dinner. Although no carpet so a bit loudy if crowded but we enjoyed it, staff polite and welcoming. Our meals delicious. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting.

Unfortunately the nice food could not make up for the terrible experience. We were a party of 10 and out to celebrate. The waiter was fabulous and made our night so fun and exciting. He was attentive, funny, kind and just all round super. In fact all 3 individuals in the restaurant who served us were fab. It's a shame the same can not be said for the rest of the staff, particularly the management.I do not expect to witness, as a paying customer, a member of staff being treated by management in the way they were. Sacking a member of staff in front of paying customers and asking him to get his coat and leave is completely unacceptable. Regardless of reasons, which we proved were incorrect but were still not listened too, I never expect to witness that.I refuse to spend anymore money in an establishment which is willing to treat their staff in such a humiliating and degrading way. I would encourage others to do the same.

Visited late last week for the first time as recommended by friends. Cocktails were greatest, decor is very appealing and everywhere nice and clean. Not like the sticky floors in the rest of Nuneaton. Only disappointment was the atmosphere, hard to enjoy the overall experience when you can hear the owner demeaning, degrading and being rude to the staff in front of customers while sat at the bar. Initially I thought it was one of the “locals” that had too much to drink - turns out he owns it!!! WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF YOU ARE ALL DOING AMAZING!!!!

We enjoyed our experience at The Fuzzy Duck. A group of 4 and no one had any complaints about food as it felt high quality. Our only complaint was unfortunately with the service as we felt forgotten about once the mains had been served. We had to get the attention of a server to be offered any dessert and this was approximately 30 mins after the mains had ended. It was not easy to get their attention as they were making themselves busy resetting tables (which were not going to be used that evening due to the time). However, that was our only complaint and overall we were very happy. I personally would visit again for special occasions

Went here with work friends midweek for the prixe fixe £10 menu...all I can say is wow!! Definitely worth the money, all 9 of us received perfect meals & service with a smile. We even asked to move our tables a bit among other requests & nothing was too much trouble. I then returned today for Sunday lunch with my family after winning a FB competition & the food was outstanding! We were all so impressed with how smoothly everything was ran & how delicious our food was, we will definitely be back soon! ❤
