I recently had a gallbladder operation and was looked after on ward 17 . The nurses were so friendly and really looked after me really well even though on the Saturday they were very short staffed absolutely run off their feet they never stopped smiling . Thank you for looking after me . I was so nervous and have anxiety they really made me feel at ease. Excellent care

Attended the fracture clinic with my wife today. The attention from all the staff, doctors, nurses, auxiliaries, receptionists etc could not have been better, really lovely people. I've never been to such a caring hospital. They were really busy but despite that we were in and out in just a couple of hours. Thank you for restoring my faith in the NHS.

Came here tonight with my 3 yrs old who was really ill... wait time was 4hrs and nurses n doctors knew summit wernt right from the off.. we was hurried through to cubicle and he was diagnosed within 1hr. Not the news we wanted to hear but all nurses, doctors and staff were amazing and quick. Made us worried parents more at ease with the situation... all staff are a credit to the NHS and we couldn't be more prouder n grateful for your hard work and caring attitude... well done all of you 👌🏻❤️

Went to a&e with my son with chest/back pain so needed checking. Reception staff were polite and efficient. There was a wait but that’s how it is. Son got seen and had an x ray and is now relaxed knowing it is not a heart problem. Yes, the waits are long, however, all the staff my son encountered were reassuring and kind. Great 👍

had an appointment at 1330, turned up at 1325 and found the orthopaedic clinic, waited to speak to the receptionist to let I know I was there, was barked at by the HCA (I believe she wanted me to sit down). Turns out my appointment has been cancelled, obviously no one told me, apparently my GP surgery should have mystically known this had been cancelled and informed me.

Great hospital.a bit old looking but the staff are fantastic and really made me feel comfortable even tho I was suffering with anxiety.cant thank the staff enough for there professionalism and kindness.Parking is free and plentiful

Father who is 92 has returned from hospital today. Communication from hospital is non existent, and professionalism from nurses atrocious. Singing, swearing and laughing during night shifts, keeping patients awake with no bedside manner. Utterly discusted and lost for words.

I'm still processing a series of visits to this A&E. I went through Seretonin Syndrome at the beginning of the year due to an interaction with sertraline and cbd.Rushed myself into this department because my vision was closing in and my heart was in so much pain. I thought I was having a heart attack (I'm only 29) I was well looked after but my suggestions that I could be going through something called Seretonin Syndrome was dismissed and sent home. A severe panic attack was the diagnosis. But the following three days I was in a state of what I can only describe as electric inside of my body almost like it was on fire on the inside. So I came in again with severe pain and was given codeine despite saying I think I have Seretonin Syndrome. I was talking nonsense and delirious but was sent home again. The following day I phoned an Ambulance at 6am because I was coughing up blood and my pee was brown.. On this visit I was Diagnosed with Seretonin Syndrome and told that It will have ran its course now. And sent home. The next day I felt as though my head was going to explode and started to hallucinate (rang another Ambulance and they took me in) I could barely breathe and my vision was going black and when I arrived back in the department I could hear the staff mentioning me and my work "he has been here 4 times and works with children"I was sent home and fell asleep with a heart rate of 24 bpm.I don't work anymore due to the stress of this. I wasn't taken seriously at all. It beggars belief.

Had to go to the A&E today with serious symptoms. The staff (doctors, nurses, xray and admin ) were absolutely marvelous, kind, professional and caring. Thank you all for your brilliant work.

I was an inpatient on ward 17 & I cannot express the kindness & the excellent care that I received during my stay the staff could not do enough for me I react badly to anaesthetic & I was treated so well & was encouraged to stay rather than being discharged to early. The food is excellent & presented so well. I would like to mention that my last operation was in a private hospital & the care exceeded this Thankyou to you all
