Friendly local pub. Menu looks good not eaten here yet.

The Forest is very, very good fine dining pub. Arrived slightly late after a walk on Sunday afternoon & the staff were very good & accommodating. Food was excellent & Sunday roast pork with crackling was particularly good. Vegetables were nicely done. Had a lovely dessert & customer service was the best I have seen in some time. Lovely location as well. I would recommend it to anyone based upon our visit.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and food. So worth a visit.

Best steak and kidney pudding I've had by a country mile. Had a lovely meal with family, entire team were welcoming and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The pub is well decorated. Maybe a little too warm in the restaurant but otherwise a faultless experience.

Ample free arking to rear. Good menu options and very nice food. The staff are very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend the ham and eggs - just the business.

This place has potential. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived 30mins early and they were still in the process of setting up. We sat at the back of the restaurant in the conservatory area which was spacious and comfortable. We were served in good time.The starters came out promptly and were of the quality I would expect from this style of restaurant. The roasts however needed rethinking. The pork, lamb and beef were visually appealing but lacked flavour. Unfortunately the gravy did not make up for this and was also insipid. It is worth mentioning that this was 12:30 so the meat should not have been sitting around for too long at this point.However, one of the party had the salmon and was extremely happy with the choice. I feel that if we went back I would certainly steer away from the roasts.

Upon arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly and polite staff. Once we sat down they showed us the various menus and took us through the specials. Their knowledge of the food was exemplary. All I can say is the food here was of the same quality as the gastro pub we visited where the head chef was a Michelin star holder.it was simply stunning.both in flavour balance but also in its visual appeal.a nice range of ciders topped of our perfect evening. But above all was the quality of the waitresses. That's how you train your staff to promote your business.

Really nice food and atmosphere. Had a relatively early meal (18:15). Wasn't sure what to choose from the menu, but settled on some choices after a while. Food was very well cooked, and very tasty. The place got remarkably busy after around 19:30, but the service remained friendly & efficient. Not the cheapest food around, but certainly not the most expensive for such good quality food. Will be going back again.

The best restaurant in Redditch. Amazing food and lovely setting. The outside fireplace not only looks amazing, it keeps you warm too. Try the steaks, you won't be disappointed.Update, September 2017. This place is even better than before! The service is like you get in a 5 star hotel and the food is the same. Highly recommended.

The place was recommended to me by a friend. I went there today with my missus, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was great, we ordered two different steaks which were delicious and nicely served and later we had some desserts too.The staff was very friendly and helpful. This place offers a spacious car park, patio area and a garden. In a sunny weather it was really great to sit in a garden and enjoy our meals. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly visit it in the future.
