A good and not to expensive pub which caters for everyones tastes.

Had to clear table of glassesAsk for cloth to clean it.Ordered 8oz steak at barThe chef came to the table no steak's left.Had to reorder mealNot a great experience

Great place to get chicken wings and beers from that isn’t breaking the bank! Food are good and many choice of beer. However , avoid the cocktail pitcher !

Oh yes, very very well kept Doom Bar. Exceptional pint. Though did wait 11 minutes to be served as only two behind the bar. All was forgiven on my first sip of my pint. Well done.

Cleared our own table had to ask for it to be wiped. Everything just pushed onto the floor. Quick service but vegetation choice wasn't available and already no fish so gave one of our party very limited choice. The bean chilli he had was very disappointing.

It's a Wetherspoons pub so a lot of stuff is fairly standard, has some food there which was better than expected I would say. Fantastic building inside with a lot of history on the site and hence the pub name.

Came today with my dad we ordered the chicken, bacon, stuffing and cranberry pannini. (Was informed there was no brie) the food took a while to come out as there was only one gentleman waiting on the table and lots of food under the heat lamp. He could of done with some help, as was reasonably busy. But he seemed to be trying the best he could. Also tables werent cleared or wiped properly. Also struggled to find one which was clean.My pannini also had to much cranberry sauce on it and one small bit of chicken slapped on.Overall not a good experience the star was only given for the effort of the poor waiter.

Great place for lunch - no more masksordered on app and they brought it to our table fastplace was half emptybeautiful conversion from a cinema and now (due to Covid) they have built outside patio doors and an enclosed garden area. what's not to like

The bar service was really efficient the day my daughter & I had lunch here & made my blackcurrant & soda to perfection!! The food did not take too long to arrive but sadly wasn't very hot 😕 I had jacket potato with beans & cheese & my daughter had a veggie burger, which she said was only warm. There's a nice atmosphere here and is quite spacious. Also the toilets are not up a ton stairs 🙂

In my opinion, the better of the two Spoons in the town. Vegetarian breakfast was good, but the baked beans were cold. However, the manager brought another portion to the table.The female associates were friendly and helpful.Very good outdoor terraces, with two to the rear and one out front.If you like motorcycle memorabilia you will be pleased with some of the exhibits and photographs throughout the restaurant. May return
