The Stables Farm Shop & Cafe in Redditch

This place is a little gem. We were looking for somewhere to go for breakfast and saw that Brood has a restaurant. It's not a big or fancy place but what shines through is the quality of the food. I had a little brood' breakfast and it was just the right size. Everything was cooked well and tasted lovely. Someone else in our party had the mushroom on toast and that looked nice too. Best of all the price was very reasonable.Before we left we popped in to the farm shop and picked up some fruit and vegetables. Sadly we had a long journey ahead, so couldn't get any meat or chilled goods, but that all looked good quality too.

Visited yesterday whilst on shift with a client. I am a senior support worker. The cafe served nice food the dog roaming around was friendly. (Hard to give no stars but will give one for the lovely girl in the cafe)However once in the shop we realised it was small, we always agree when they are small to take our time to admire each product individually to make the most of it! My client was looking at chocolates near the exit then called me to look, the butcher than frantically called the shop assistant to which he then swiftly came right behind us, blocking the exit. We stood there for some time as he was showing me the chocolates he found, the store assistant hovering the whole time. I asked if we were in his way he stumbled on his words saying he was looking to see if he needed to top up the display… the only single one we were looking at …he then carried on following us around. I am not a fool and I understand him to believe we were thieves, I also understand he was instructed by the butcher to do this probably as when we looked at the plants after the butcher watched us very eagle eyed, overall this ruined the experience, I managed to keep my client distracted to what was going on but god forbid he would’ve wanted to look at the woven baskets outside by the exit before paying, we’d have probably been tackled!! Will not return

Lovely place I pop up at least once a month to stock up on meat and veg and even other groceries they have a good range of items in stock so handy. Even had siracha sauce that my daughter loves and is out of stock everywhere else. Fantastic view too need to test there new cafe out next time. Staff are lovely and helpful x

Friendly helpful staff with a great cafe. Delicious sandwiches & a great place for a coffee with friends. Love the variety of items in the shop & the vegetables are fresh.

Meat is very tasty. But both butchers were off work due to unforseen circumstances. The lady owner was great at serving me managed to mince me some lamb and cut me some pork chops, and entertained me in doing so. Lovely lady great sence of humour.

Wonderful lunch in the cafe today. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our little nephew. The food was amazing, the cheese burger was one of the best I've had and the ploughman's was rated highly by my husband too. Both meals were great value for money.

Excellent shop choice of meat amazing all great quality best mutton I've ever had. Proper old style butchers gives advice and cuts meat to suit you . Nothing too much trouble and meat comes from there own local farm 👍🏾

Beautiful little farm shop, with a cafe area that will open soon!Had all that we need it and sourced locally: meat, fresh eggs, fresh vegetables and lots more! Had a nice chat with the 2 butchers.. Lovely people! We will return again😊(in the pic honey, onion marmelade, butter, cider and meat also they gave us a free bag that I loved as I try to reuse and use as less plastic as possible ♻️)

This is a fabulous farm shop run by amazing entrepreneurs. Super products across all categories. The owner has also promised a new coffee machine which I await with baited breath! Lots of outdoor space to enjoy said coffee and admire the view. I love to support small businesses run by inspiring people. Hope you will too. 😍

Exceptional quality of their own vegetables at very fair prices.The butchers is absolutely top class- a superb quality and service and great value for money.Thoroughly recommended to anyone that has yet to visit this friendly gem.
