Great pub with friendly staff. Large dining area. Food is well presented and plentiful and really good value for money.

Top knotch pub and campervan stop over. Canal to the back and co op just down the road.The oweners are absolutely smashing and the locals are friendly. Great selection of gins but only one choice of whisky unfortunately. Food was good standard too. Darren said the Thai vegan/Veggi curry was banging and the chef was accommodating letting me have the breaded mushroom starter as a main instead with extra salad and some chips as my Veggi option. Our Darren met another Darren here who had the same Birthday as him! What are the chances of that?All round a friendly and welcoming place in warm and cosy atmosphere in a great location. It's on the list to vist again in the van especially as the have shower/bath room available for charge.Looking forward to returning.

Friendly helpful staff. Food excellent and reasonably priced well worth a visit.

A bg group of us went for my grandsons birthday party and nothing was too much trouble. They dressed the room lovely, the food was great also really child friendly. We all had a lovely evening, will definitely go back again.

Overall a very warm welcome by all staff, in particular Simon who was very helpful from the off.Good food, served by the loveliest serving staff Tia and Rhea, who I feel are a huge asset to the Barley Mow, we will definitely be revisiting this canal side establishment.See you soon Tia and Rhea 🙂🙂🙂

Really lovely pub, went there on the last night of our narrowboat holiday. Unfortunately we had to be up early in the morning. DJ playing fantastic music. Would have been good to have stayed longer. All staff really friendly, the Landlady came and had a chat with us and made a fuss of our dog. Lovely place, I know i've already said that. Hope to return on our next boating holiday. And they do fantastic chips! Thank you Barley Mow and staff.

Great pub atmosphere. Stayed out the back right next to the canal in our camper. Owner very friendly and there to greet us. Lovely spot.

Excellent friendly staff, great beer well kept, several outdoor areas to sit including geared for kids and for those that like watching canal boats putter past. Big screens for sports but not at all intrusive on normal days. Soon to have a tea room/coffee shop in the Barn building. Plenty of parking - recommend entering from Manor House Close (only just turn into there and drive is on your right)as main entrance for cars is quite steep.
