Fish and chips were okay, nothing special, four of us had different meals, and, to be honest, the general impressions was a resounding "meh".

No consistency in flavour of chips, sometimes really good, sometimes quite poor. Don't know if it's different potatoes or oil, feels like pot luck.

Used to be brilliant but the fish is now always dripping with oil. I've been going to this chip shop for over 25 years but it's not as good as it used to be since changing hands. Chips are much greaser, as is the fish & other battered food. Still friendly & efficient, good range at reasonable prices but they really need to address the over saturated fish & chips. Once they get that sorted, I'd give it 5 stars again.

Just ordered a bag of chips, they were fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The service was okay not as friendly as other chip shops I have been too but will be going back to try their doner kebabs.
