Bulls Head in Rugby

Popped in for spontaneous lunch, hadn't booked, we managed to get a table in the garden which was fab as the kids could enjoy the bouncy castle and play area. Food was delicious , we had a few small plates to share. One of the staff were so attentive, I think her name was Rachel. Overall a lovely place, friendly staff and a great place to tire the kids out

Food was good but service was very very slow. Had to ask for them to take our order after over half an hour of waiting, had to ask twice for bill and in the end just went up to pay. Would have been understandable if it was busy but bar staff were just stood around chatting the entire time. I wouldn't go back.

Such poor service. Waited over two hours for food, brought everyone else's food out but mine and my daughters, you would of thought a child's dish would of been one of the first to be brought out. Asked for mine with no cheese when it finally arrived it had cheese on it so had to send it back and wait even longer, then to top it off one of our dishes was under cooked and the chicken was raw. Do not recommend at all!

Sunday lunches are beautiful (one of the best)as long as specific requests are remembered. However cheese cake was awful, tasted like a white chocolate moose for nearly 7 pound. And turn up early on a Sunday if you want a selection of meat

Booked a table for 7.30pm, on arriving they didn’t know about our booking. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for menu and someone to take drinks order but owner too busy chatting to another table, so ordered a drink at the bar and was told someone would be over shortly. 10 minutes later owner arrived at table to say they had stopped cooking, but we informed her we had booked a table at 7.30pm. She reluctantly took our order of 2 meals. After waiting another 35 minutes and still no food or anyone coming over to apologise we left! Would not go back again as service is terrible and disorganised staff.

Hi, in answer to your request for more information, unfortunately all our food was overcooked - the batter on my fish was burned meaning the fish was a little dry. The belly pork was a very small portion and chewy - overcooked. The side order had to be chased up. We weren't asked how the food was until after we had all finished, at which time I did say to the person collecting the plates, that my fish batter was burnt but although acknowledged, no apology or action. At these prices we expected much better and won't be returning.

Me and my partner Visited here today after a day of countryside walking, we were greeted warmly and felt very welcome, staff were friendly and service was prompt. Highly recommend the Sunday lunches. A very cosy and friendly pub will be sure to visit again soon 😃

Wonderful company. We visited for their vegan tasting menu evening and the food was outstanding. The staff are so friendly and the service was excellent. Lovely atmosphere, excellent food - we will be back!

Great food! Friendly staff. We had a Sunday roast and it was mouth watering! Dog friendly and there's a lovely seating area round the back! Can't wait to go back!
