Great, quick service and tasty food. My husband got his eggs which he loves with curry. More variety in desserts too, so that pretty cheesecake was delicious!

Quick trip out with the boss and never been to this place before.. Food was nice but the service was a little bit slow at times. Price was about what you would expect for a curry house.

Adequate but ultimately disappointing. Four of us went, shared poppadoms and starters (which were OK) and had our own mains. My butter chicken was bland (yes, it's supposed to be fairly mild but it had very little taste). My daughter asked for lamb pasanda (which is also mild) but asked for it spicy. They said they couldn't do it! Never had that response in an Indian restaurant before! The result was - yes, it was bland. The peshwari naan was also chewy. The other two mains were OK.

Haven’t been for while but it’s nice to know that last nights meal was amazing and served quickly with pride and politeness. Well done

Have used the Maharajah for a number of years, when in the area. Always a warm welcome. Food is always excellent quality, tasty, not full of weird colours and the staff are attentive, polite and friendly. Shame its 240 miles from home.

We visited this restaurant for the first time based on looking at other people's reviews. My expectations were high and I have to say I was not disappointed. From the moment we entered to dine in, the staff were so attentive and attended to our every requirement with care and initiative. I had my 10 month old baby with me and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all and dined comfortably. The food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant is of a high standard. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thank you to the staff especially for making this a great place to visit.

I am fairly picking when it cones to Indian food. Certain places over spice over season and over cook the food.Maharaja is a great place. Service and staff are very attentive. Quick to fill your glass, order suggestions, and seem to care about your experience.The food was very good. I had the butter chicken tikka, rice, super hot and fresh garlic naan and a side of cauliflowerI was expecting a bit more of flavour and in your face spice punch but instead a subtle delightful meal.Definitely a sold choice
