We missed Samin tonight at our regular visit to this lovely establishment but we were in the very competent friendly hands of Abdul....(aka Team Salam!)..This is a venue we visit time and time again but tonight we asked for recommendations of things we haven't had the pleasure of trying before and were immensely pleased with their selection of dishes offered. Never fails to exceed our expectations and we're already looking forward to the next visit!Thank you!!!!!😊😊😊

Fantastic meal one again. Excellent food and relaxed atmosphere.Abdul and team Salam go above and beyond to look after their customers, we and our six year old were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed chatting with them. We will definitely be going back

Family friendly restaurant- amazing fresh food, warm reception and professional service. All of the staff are great with my small children, making them feel welcome meaning they enjoy eating there too. Always a good evening, thanks to Sam for making us so welcome.

Lovely food and great service. Staff were excellent and Sharu Khan gave us couple things on the house as my daughter's birthday. They even came out with a dessert for her and all sang happy birthday!! Our favourite Rugby Indian restaurant!! Thanks.

Since moving to Rugby I have come several times to this restaurant, and every time the service and food are impeccable. All of Team Salam always go the extra mile to ensure we are welcome and well cared for. My last visit, I started with onion bhaji (some of the best I have tasted), followed by chicken achari (a wonderful and flavourful experience which I highly recommend) and delicious saag paneer. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants high quality and interesting Indian cuisine.

In terms of service it's reasonable, they did push to order poppadoms and rice dishesSpeed of service for starters was good however portion to price ratio is steepThe food was good but it wasn't fillingA few issues would be that the starters and serving the main course took agesThe allergies could be a problem when certain dishes were confirmed to be 'safe' but on the next visit a potential hazardBanter was good however could be skewed with the wrong audience

Do not eat at this restaurant. You’ll be putting money into a dishonest and greedy ‘business’. On our visit we had 4 drinks, 2 half pints, 1 soda water and 1 bottle of water and they charged us £13.95. This was not the only scam, the entire night they persistently tried to get us to order more than we wanted, constantly trying to up-sell. It ruined the evening and became very frustrating. The bill came to over £100 which seemed way over what we should have paid. They had charged us £12 for 2x sauces to go with tandoori chicken and as the bill was not a printed receipt - it was hand written - we had know idea how much we were being charged and what for. At the end the server who we could tell just wanted our money asked if we could pay cash. We said we didn’t have any and he said, please, are you sure?? Begging at this point. We said no again to which he suggested going to get some out! We once again said no and he seemed upset and angry that we were paying card. Then he asked us did we want to put a tip on? It was highly embarrassing as we did not want to due to the horrendous evening however we ended up doing it as we felt pressured to. MONEY GRABBING for mediocre food. Don’t waste your time.

We have had takeaway for several months now. The order previous to this order we noticed the chutneys seemed watered down. This time we tried the online order instead of calling. Instead of 20% off we kind of got 50% off as my wife's mains was missing! On top of that, the chutneys were again definitely watered down. That's a real shame. Just raise the price 30% and charge 80p for your old recipe which was enjoyable. These get binned.I asked for a refund just for my wife's missing mains. The person first said come back and get it. It is a 30 minute round trip. My meal would then be cold and my wife needs to eat early in the evening due to a medical condition. They would not refund the £8.50, but said that they would "make it up on our next order" assuming that we would return. Very difficult position. We drive by no less than 8 Indian restaurants to get there.
