Pizza Express in Rugby

The location did not inform me of the 45 minute wait until I had sat down. Not an issue as it came quicker than this. It took the team 2 minutes to acknowledge me at the door to get a table. It was busy but appeared short staffed.Having ordered the carrot cake and coffee, I was informed that these were unavailable at the time of ordering. The location had limited supplies of different items on the menu which I have yet to encounter in a Pizza Express.The team were apologetic in that respect and were warm and friendly throughout. The food tasted great but I notice the size of the portion and the amount of butter given on the doughballs was small; The smallest I have come across where other branches are a lot more generous!Little improvements such as having cutlery on my table would not go a miss. A staff member delivered my dough balls without any cutlery. The soft drinks provided were warm in the bottle; normally they are chilled from a fridge.Little niggels made it a less pleasant experience than normal but I would visit again.

Went with a friend recently and we really enjoyed the food and the experience. The staff were very friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sit down pizza restaurant!

Really slow service when not even busy. More staff than customers for a Saturday afternoon. Waited an hour for starters. Then had to ask for them to be cleared and for the mains to come out, which again took ages. Over priced and poor quality of food. Had to leave before desserts because had been there too long, no-one asked if our food was ok. Will never go to a pizza express again.

Food is pretty good, but pizza express shines thanks to its staff. All the servers are lovely and a pleasant change compared to the local Prezzo were staff are normally grumpy and borderline rude.

7 of us had a meal and drinks here, very friendly and helpful staff, all our meals were delicious with no complaints from anyone, prices are reasonable too.

We were very disappointed with pizza express today. We ordered diet coke without ice, the waitress bought a glass with ice and a lemon, horrible onion smell was coming from my glass. Then we asked them to make bosco salad (previously we have asked and although it's not in a manu they made it for us) today the waitress said, sorry we don't have the ingredients. We ordered pizza they forgot to put olives on, we said, where is the olives? They took the pizza,put olives on the top of our pizza and bought it back. Pizza was very dry. Come on pizza express this is not your standard. We expect lots more than that as we pay a lot of money for the quality we get at your restaurant.

Welcoming decor and good pizzas. Service struggled to cope with a handful of customers as there appeared to be only one server. However, food was fresh and tasty and the kids menu is good value for money. Will be returning.

Very quick service generally not busy. Really nice and easy. Took a while to find using Google Maps as it took me down many back alleys. Would recommend if your on O2 especially as you can use O2 Priority to get a deal. Wish the menu would state what counted as a main to assist people using deals.

My first time coming to any Pizza Express after being recommended by a work colleague. I didn't have huge expectations as I thought it would just be another Dominos style place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a starter and a main and both came within a reasonable time and it tasted amazing! It is slightly pricey but compared to other pizza places it's worth your money. The staff are super friendly and always serve you with a smile. I would highly recommend coming here and I definitely will again soon.

Absolutely perfect restaurant. We were shown to our table by a lovely waitress who was really friendly and welcoming. One of us is vegan and a bit of a fussy eater and the choice of food here is wondeful, our waitress was extremely helpful! Service was very prompt and both courses arrived lovely and hot. The chef even bought our mains over to us when it got quite busy. The food tasted delicious as always and would recommend this restaurant to everyone! The staff here really are excellent.
