Sainsbury's Cafe in Rugby

No hot drinks due to no hot water,a kettle would have worked. Chicken and bacon toastie was tasty

Not busy when I ordered?,still took awhile to get my coffee though, hot and delicious when it arrived

Not the best by any standards but a general supermarket own brand cafe its good for a coffee break before going off somewhere else .

Great place to grab a snack at lunchtime, well cooker ham and eggs, nice cheesy baked potato

Oh wow. I had a breakfast but forgot to take pics.2 sausages,2 well done bacon,2 hash brownsBeans,ToastAnd I chose not to have mushroom or tomato.Everything was cooked perfectly.It was also great to see 2 big jugs of iced water at the end of the counter.

Decided to have the fish and chip meal. To my surprise it arrived quite quickly so the service was good. Shame I can't say the same about the meal. The fish was in breadcrumb not battered and was soggy. The chips could have been cooked a little longer. A very disappointing meal which I won't be buying again.

Breakfast had a lot of grease on it, especially the mushroom. Toast was hot buttered bread. The rest was OK. Service average, the young lady at the counter worked her socks off serving a large queue alone, and had to help the servers as well. Could have done with a manager to redeploy staff as loads talking down stairs.Clean walls and a dust would have been nice.

I have an allergy to Gluten so when I ordered the All day Breakfast I asked if I could change the toast for a hash brown or extra egg. I was told they can not do that but they will remove the toast for me. I'm amazed that a large supermarket (that have signs saying please tell a member of staff if you have any food allergies) can't actually cater for people with allergies but still charge full price for less food. If it's too difficult to cater for food allergies I suggest they introduce a build your own breakfast or lunch menu for the same price.

Quite disappointing from Sainsbury's, I had a cheese and ham panini, which was £3 (overpriced). It took around 10mins to come out (longer than expected). There wasn't much in the way of filling, but it was very salty. The bread itself was over done too. Having said that the staff were polite and the environment itself is ok. It's a mixture of sofas with a table in between and standard chairs at a table. Access to the cafe is via stairs or a lift so ok for elderly and disabled.
