The food was delicious and plentiful. The Chef kept piling so much meat on my plate I assumed I was a family of four.The waitstaff were super friendly and visited the table so often they should have just pulled up a chair.The kitchen even made Gluten Free gravy just for me and made a point of letting me know what was ok for me to eat. Apart from a little confusion over the bill which was sorted quickly, it was a fantastic meal.

Tried everyone else for Sunday dinner....this is the best by miles absolutely stunning always cooked the way it should be...pay a little more to get a lot more...just quality..Big thanks to all of the hard working staff 🙌..steve 👍...

Stunning food- faultless service. Melt in the mouth beef at the Sunday Carvery! (Didn’t try the smoked turkey or ham but they also looked great and I could have had a mixed meat plate if I so wished- great to have the choice!) Everything cooked to perfection! Will recommend to all my carnivore friends!

The second time I've visited and I must say the food is always delicious. Just a bit disappointed in the service last time as nobody told us when last chance was for the buffet and upon receiving our bottle of wine we waited 10 minutes until reminding staff we needed glasses to go with it. However there was one young waitress named Bella who was friendly and polite so thanks.

Who the hell doesn’t love it here? Lost count of how many times we’ve been as it’s amazing. I guarantee you will not get a better roast dinner anywhere else in the U.K. And if you do, I want to know about it! Thank you so much to the whole team here, they make us happy :)

Week upon week they produce THE best roast to be found anywhere. Today was Christmas Dinner and it was INCREDIBLE.By far the best service ANYWHERE. Andy and his Dad look after us like we are part of their very own family.Highly recommend 👌

If you like your flavours, this is the one for you! Brilliant settings for a three course hearty carvery. Complimented by a fancy pudding... Why not the price is reasonable when you taste how good it is! Long standing places like this deserve more recognition.

We went to the Huntsman to celebrate my 65th Birthday and was the first time there. The whole meal was tasty, tender and hot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff although young did a fab job. I didn't mind them trying to charge me again for the meal after paying for it before I arrived. We will be back. Thank you so much. Wishing you all a very Merry but safe Christmas. Ian & Family

Thursday 6:30pm. Sat down to a nice table and the new waitresses were very good. They explained the menu choices and were nice. We ordered garlic mushrooms and the brie for starters. Mushrooms were really good and came on fresh bread. Brie was a decent portion size and came with a nice fresh salad. Main meal was carvery beef turkey and pork - you get a huge portion of meat that you will probably not even want dessert. The server was really nice and the veg was all really well presented and everything was hot.Beers were good and we had a good time. Deserts had a good selection available but I ordered ice cream as I couldn't really eat much else!Overall very good quality carvery and will come back again.

Visited on Saturday and was very thoroughly looked after. The staff went out of their way to make our meal extra special, including catering for me not eating meat. Carvery was excellent as always according to my husband (for the meat!) and me (everything else!).
