The Old Royal Oak in Rugby

We went here on good Friday 2022 and they were very busy and running out of stock due to how busy they were. They warned you it was going to be an hour and a half for food due to having one chef, but they didn't turn you away if you wanted food.One lady called Trish was very welcoming, very polite, bubbley, she brought your drinks to your table and did everything in her power to make sure you were happy and looked after, she was meant to finish at 6m but was still there when we left at 9pm. They were all very tired after a very long shift but didn't stop smiling even Sean the server. Thank you team for a lovely evening.

Our family come to this pub most weeks for food and drinks. All the staff are polite, caring and helpful. They always go above and beyond and cater for our needs, especially Mandy and Trish. The staff out the back and the ones who do the carvery are lovely too.Great food, great service!

Lovely place to visit. Plenty of parking for customers, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, big thanks to the Manager Trish, and others Mandy, Sophie and Cameron for their super efficient service, friendliness and welcoming smiles.I’ve have visited this pub twice for a Sunday Lunch, food was excellent, good choice of 3 meats and plenty of veg, sauces and gravy.Tables are spacious and not on top of each other.I had bar tables which I prefer but large open area which gives a great atmosphere.I highly recommend a visit here and that you book if you want Sunday Lunch.I’ll be there again very soonDale

We visited this Pub & Carvery on Sunday and have been here with family and friends in the past, as always we where greeted with a friendly smile and service. On this visit I spoke to the lady in charge and thanked her and her team for a great time and she was delighted that we liked the experience. The carvery is tasty as always and at a great price. We will be returning.

Excellent service, friendly with the children. Trish (manager) was very friends, even have my daughter some toys as reward for eating her dinner! Jackie served up a very good carvery, Food was really good, well presented. 100% recommend.

Trish. Is a very welcoming host. Her communication ability with both individuals and groups is outstanding. She made our visit comfortable and very enjoyable. As a ex landlord myself. If I was still in business Trish is the very type of person I would be proud of. As a employee. A big thank you Trish on behalf of myself and family. We thoroughly enjoyed ourself. Lovely food especially the carvery and great value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My only criticism was that it was very busy and none of the staff were wearing masks and very few of the customers were either as everyone was told on entering it was not mandatory to wear them.

The place is really nic and cozy,second time here for the carvery. Food is just amazing,really tasty and the giant Yorkie homemade is just amazing, so delicious. Definitely 5 starts. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Very welcome pub especially Harry, lovely carvery albeit Brussels sprouts hard! Sat outside to finish off our drinks watching the narrow boats, a lovely lunch

Absolutely lovely Carvery. Trish and her lovely staff served us so well. A word of warning - the extra £1 for a giant Yorkshire pudding tempted me but it was sooo big, even I couldn’t manage it. Thoroughly recommended.
