Wonderful little cosy cafe, with exceptionally nice and well presented food. The staff were also very nice in helping me find out what I’d want from their menu. All of this plus very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this cafe

Don't usually leave reviews but the toasted sandwiches they offer are elite and would highly recommend this place for lunch.

Celebrated my sister's birthday with an afternoon tea, suitable for all our dietary needs in the family. Everyone was hugely impressive with the food and also the amount of food we had. Absolutely delicious!

Called in for afternoon tea and cake which was fantastic. We also noticed a variety of scotch eggs freshly made. I don't like scotch eggs, but still decided to try one, I had a Chipotle pork one. What can I say other than they are to die for, well worth a visit.

Posting on behalf of my Mum Cathy."Ordered an afternoon tea for 4 for my Mum's birthday. The food was delicious, there was more than enough for all of us and it was lovingly presented. Thank you to all at Treacles."

Just had a lovely cream tea at Treacles'. Great value for money and offers of more tea if we wanted it - we got a nice big pot. Pretty table ware. We couldn't eat it all.. so the lady very kindly put the rest in a box for us.The food was lovely. I went to The Ivy for afternoon tea recently and this food was much better and more of it.Service was friendly and helpful - something The Ivy could learn from!We will defiantly return! Well done ladies!

Very nice, but very busy little cafe. Not gonna hold that against them though, as its popular for good reason. Food was delicious, fast, generously-portioned and good value.Would absolutely go again, and certainly will.

We went for a much needed treat after lockdown and they did not disappoint. The food was lovely and the staff a delight, my son is planning our next visit already 😊

·

Always friendly staff.Very clean. Afternoon tea is very good, and fish finger sandwiches are great, but they keep taking them off the menu.

Brilliant cafe, first time there. Informed about dairy products and asked if we had allergies . Breakfasts looked great , but we settled for home made scones , sausage roll and a delicious custard tart. Fully recommended !!
