William Webb Ellis in Rugby

Excellent meal, nice pub, clean and welcoming, fair prices, went with my family. We live locally: it's one of those pubs that we pass by daily, but have not visited. We will visit again.

Update 31/7/22 - four of us popped in on the off chance of some food after returning from the Commonwealth Games in Coventry. Despite the place being very busy with Sunday lunch trade, they fitted us in with hot chicken and turkey sandwiches, which hit the spot.Update 28/3/22 - lunchtime offer is now 2 mains for £12. Sign of the times!Went for lunch with a couple of friends. Good value at 2 mains for £10: choice of about 10 fairly simple dishes, nicely cooked and presented. A decent range of beers too.

Excellent Sunday lunch served up by friendly and efficient staff. Also, at very reasonble prices.

Good old fashioned pub with the best food at a price that I like

Had a good night out. The live band was brill. Served real quick. Ages of the clientele was roughly 30+.

We visited today, unfortunately to late for lunch, but the beer was excellent.The pub was pristine, I can not remember visiting a cleaner, nicer smelling pub.

First visit and had Sunday roast. Lovely food, Very good value for money. We had veggie roast and a mixed meat roast. Could not fault it. Would definitely return.

Fantastic landlord (Derek?), really welcoming. Nice comfortable interior and good range at decent prices.Food was exceptional for the price and the portion sizes are unbelievable!Nothing not to like and will be returning often.
