BigJohn's in Sandwell

The fish was quite big and rightly so at those prices! Its probably so expensive because it's a chain and there's a drive through. The lady on the counter was very friendly and bubbly and she should be promoted or in line for the next position. This is what's missing in most places customer service especially because of the Pandemic. Try the fish and you can justify if the price is right or not.

Great tasty food at affordable prices. Clean and good variety of food. The usual: pizza, burgers, kebabs and good old fashioned fish and chips style. The fish and chips are very nice especially the fish, you can taste the quality.The pizzas are are also very nice and very competitively priced for what you get.You can choose your own toppings for your pizza. The staff making the pizza in front of you is a nice touch.The seating area is clean and modern with a small area to eat outside with family and friends on a nice day. Alternatively there is a drive thru where you can place your order. With ample and safe parking of vehicles.Highly recommend you try the takeaway and give it a go. Nice place to eat after work before heading off home. Or getting together with friends to eat out. Overall a fast and friendly service.The toilet area could do with modernising and being more clean. Desserts could be a tad cheaper but other than that it's a great place to eat.

Chips were the star of the show, freshly made and cooked to perfection, salt and vinegar perfectly. 10/10Wings were mid, the meat wasn't anything spectacular but the coating was seasoned.Pizza was fine, small size.They have a deal for £1.99 you get a portion of chips (big enough of a portion) and either a slice of small pizza or some wings.Excellent price and really nice chips, big portions that you struggle to finish for lunch, can't recommend enough. Only downside would be that you have to pay for any sauce at all, but definitely not a deal breaker for how nice it is.Kind staff too

Nightmare, few years ago food quality was really good but now it's disgusting. If you are hungry choice other chippy. No more wasting money.

Certainly the worst takeaway shop in the West Midlands.Food never arrived. Even after being promised on the phone it will be here in the matter of 10 minutes. Kept calling after 20 minutes no answer. Then phoned of a different number asked them how long and the response I got was “it’s you again” then hung up. Idiots!!!

So i have used this place 3 times. 1st visit was great, through the drive Thru Fish & Chips, in , out done. Next 2 times Drive Thru, er not really, place the order, then have to park up and wait 20 mins. Ridiculous. Another company pandering to online orders, and making the actual physical customers on site wait for their orders. Don't bother, you need a bag of chips waiting for your order to turn up.

Was staying at a Hotel nearby and needed quick food. Been to another branch before and have not been disappointed. This on the other hand was very disappointing. I ordered their half pounder burger unfortunately it was very dry. Ordered a wings meal. The wings were old and also very dry inside. Chips were old too and not fresh. Almost cold. What is with the customer service? Rude at the drive thru window, just have a smile and talk to people nicely. It goes a long way. Was made to park up when there was no other customers in the queue, food took about 20 minutes to arrive. Very slow for what was produced. Will not be going back.

I absolutely love Big John's, outstanding value for money, the burgers and pizzas are my favourite and always made fresh to order in front of you.Also the food is very well presented and packaged in smart looking BJ branded boxes.I paid less than £10 for two double cheese burger meals with chips and drinks. You'd pay nearly double that for same amount of food in McDonald's and their burger patties are wafer thin unlike Big John's!The only negative thing is that they charge 50p for small pots of sauce while other branches of Big John's don't.🍔👌🏻🚗

Had to put 1star as to put a review. Ordered meal and mushy peas... Approximately 1/2 table spoon of mushy peas . Complained to the call centre and they can't do anytime except give me mushy peas next time I order. Who said I was going to order next time !!! Worst decision was to get it from these guys. Oh chips stale.. Really!!! Thought the burger would be better 🤦

Today I went in after a long time, just to try out a quick afternoon snack. I ordered spicy chicken wings with chips. I can tell you they tasted as delicious as they looked, fresh and juicy. upto today there is no eat in, only takeaway and delivered.I enjoyed my food. the place looked clean and the staff looked clean and welcoming. However the toilet was out of order and locked.I am upgrading my previous rating from 1 to 3 stars. Hope to see more improvements on the staff side.
