Costa Coffee in Sandwell

Introduced my wife to Costa coffee and now selhe wants ot every day

At first, I thought it was a nice place in West Bromwich Centre, to drink a coffee and eat a cake!But it's a dirty place, the tables and sofas/chairs are sprinkled with sticky coffee and you need to bring your cleaning utensils or at least some wet wipes from home, as the staff is overwhelmed with orders.At first, you'll have to stand in a queue that won't move for 20 minutes, because the staff isn't well organized in that cramped space where only small Asians would handle it. 20 minutes if the staff doesn't mess up the orders, because they did it with the orders of the ones in front of me both times when I was there.Then you will have to find a free table, which you can empty of the food left by those who sat there before you... and clean it the table with wet wipes!In March I thought these unpleasant things were a coincidence, but the story was repeated in June.In conclusion, I do not recommend this location.

Went to use my birthday treat at Costa coffee, had a lovely cake with a hot chocolate and got to relax while giving my daughter a bottle 😊Staff was lovely and made me feel at home

Quite busy but quality drinks as you would expect. Would be 5 stars if they had a few more tills

Terrible experience - last 2 occasions the wait was about 25 minutes for a drink , people before us still didn’t have their drinks by the time we had finished the staff were that busy and confused.Sort it out

Previously left a scathing review, but I've been in a few times since, and think there's been a staff overhaul which has improved the place.It's not the best for consistency, I've noticed my flat white will taste different depending on who makes it, and there is a specific person who makes the best ones.Gets quite busy on weekend mornings, so usually come in early (previous review was a rant about them not being open more than 15 minutes after their opening time a couple of months ago).

First time I went to this Costa. The service was great but I asked for my latte to be extra hot and it wasn't. I wanted to go back and return it but there was a long cue so i just left it. I like my coffee to be hot so I can take my time drinking it but I had to drink it within a few minutes otherwise it would of been too cold.

On a lovely day like today, I fancied a coffee and went to Costa, the service was as warm and friendly as the weather and the drink was made fast and tasted amazing. Great coffee house, will be back.

Always a lovely atmosphere. The staff get to recognise you and are very friendly, they also make great recommendations if you want to try something new. I definitely would recommend trying their character roast as it's so smooth. It's also worth getting a Costa Coffee Club Card as even though you don't get the most points per pound they do add up and occasionally there are promotions for loyalty card holders or extra points as a bonus reward.
