The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to ÂŁ50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is ÂŁ7, it's incredibly expensive. There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required. There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but ÂŁ15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke.

Was looking for something different for dinner and my work colleagues rave over the Birmingham branch so thought I would try the West Brom branch. Highly delighted with the food and the set up worked well. Liked seeing where the food is prepared as well. A very quick in and out with polite staff. Highly recommended and will return

Me and my wife normally travel from Telford to West Brom quite often to GDK and normally is amazing. This used to be our favourite place to eat but today we were shocked by the customer service and also the food quality. Even before we sat down 2 customers were complaining about the food being dry. We didn’t take any notice as we normally have an amazing meal. My wife gets the durum wrap which normally is packed with meat, sauce and salad. Today it was very dry and even after telling the staff we were told we’d have to pay more if we wanted sauce… which should’ve been on the wrap anyway? Then on to the “new” panini which just topped it off. Didn’t look nothing like what it should’ve. Was also very dry and unappealing.Overall we aren’t going to be coming back here as the staff aren’t the most professional and the service and quality was just terrible. I would give 0/5 if I could.

Very good.First time we have been to GDK and we were not disappointed. It's been on my to do list for a while so we did actually make a special trip after getting impatient waiting for the Merry Hill one to open.Well worth a visit, but don't be under any illusion, it is literally kebab and chips.

Spring rolls are really nice and full of meat, the jalapeños inside are definitely a good addition as well. Donnor box was also really nice but I was disappointed with the amount of fries which I was served in the box hence the reason I have only given 4 stars. Was literally hardly any fries in the bottom but there was plenty meat which was good but I feel as if the ratio of chicken and fries should be balanced.

Not the best German Donner outlet as the food served was luke warm yet took a while to arrive at our table? Lady serving was polite yet the other young lady who brought the food to us wasn't clear in her tone and basically couldn't understand what she said!Had better experiences at other outlets...

This place is quite hit and miss with regards to the quality of food when ordered for delivery. Its often rushed and poorly packed and you can tell not much care had been taken to packaging or delivering a quality service. They were great when they first open a few years ago ... not for me anymore

Really impressed with the seating area not to talk about the food itself and the size of the portion. So far the best kebab i ever had (and tried loads over the years). We ordered the german kebab meal 🤤🤤🤤🤤. And by the way...all that was not even 16£ a good reason for me to visit West Bromwich more often.

When I was there few weeks back the food was tasty and done quick. However this is my second time when I get burned meat and on top of it it is all cold.I had to request the staff to make another food as I have ordered 2 kebabs and there was 20 minutes in between the time that one was prepared and the second. Not happy with the quality, it went down the hill.
