Golu Da Dhaba in Sandwell

This place used to serve delicious vegetarian dishes and liked eating here. Since it has been taken over by new management the food standards have dropped immensely. I don't know about anyone else but never coming to dine out here again. Sorry for the bad review🤨

Let me tell you first that it is **CASH ONLY**. The dhaba has been decorated in a traditional Punjabi roadside dhaba way which is lovely. The lovely is freshly prepared, good and tasty. Not too expensive. Right for the price. Ambience is good. Neat and clean. NO PARKING/ROADSIDE PARKING ONLY. I was taken aback then the lady said we don't accept cards, luckily I had enough cash. Only one suggestion, THINK BIG and START ACCEPTING CARDS. You will get more business.

The Best place for veg food.Service very good.Excellent kulcha never get the same taste any where else.Keep up the good job guys.

Very traditional old school Indian food.Fresh and spicy just the way I like it!Good value for money and definitely worth a visit.It's a family orientated place and not like a local pubThey offer food and drink at the premises.There offer a very good variety of vegetarian dishes.I would definitely recommend you to visit hereNot been for a while been back today. We visited Golu Da Dhaba in April 2022, the Dhaba themed, Punjabi Food Restaurant. The food is good, the teenage staff is courteous and friendly and service is timely, also the rates are very reasonable. We had Amritsari Kulcha, Chole Bharure and Dal Tadka, Rice and Mango Lassi. All items were good. The restaurants doesn’t accept card payment which can be tricky if you are not carrying cash. The ambiance is moderate and locale does not particularly have a high street vibe. Restaurant is at a junction and has option of road side parking. Overall a good experience.

If you are looking for an authentic punjabi food comparing to what we generally get everywhere in the UK, this is the place.We have been here couple of times and each time it has exceeded our expectations.The best is the Amritsari Kulcha - Crisp, freshly made, served hot.Second best is Chole bhature.Great place, ambience wise and hospitality wise too.

Taste is good and Service quick. Parking nearby off street is free. Punjabi Dhaba style interiors. Good value of money. Need more Tawa Parantha options

Great food and the lady who served us was lovely and friendly. We had an amazing time with family having very good quality food. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend this place to everyone!
