Island Inn in Sandwell

Before it was refurbished there used to be bar area and restaurant area now it's all restaurant area ofcourse you can have a drink but atmosphere is not the same otherwise it's beautifully done and very clean, good service well done.

It was the first time I came here. Lovely place with a nice atmosphere. Sadly the food I ordered (mixed grill) gave me a pretty bad stomach (diarrhea)

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Had prawn curry which was delicious, good portion size a great price. Definitely will be returning. 👌

Came in to watch the football and place is great for sport and drinks are very well priced and service is great. The food on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. We ordered food to be ready for 7pm when the football had finished to take home, despite ordering at least 1 hour -130 before hand the food was not given to us until 7:20. The food itself was awful, I had one bite of a piece of chicken and threw the rest away. It didn’t taste good, smelt funny, looked even worst. Had I of been in the restaurant I would of sent it back straight away and asked for my money back, £45 worth of food in the bin. For drinks and sports it is worth going but I’d definitely eat before you do.

Went for a birthday meal with a few lads.Clean place, tasty food, good slushes. Parking and location is a slight issue but it wouldn’t put me off returning. Good job IIP 👍🏾

1h waiting time for the same dish it would normally take . Taste different than usual, extremely spicy. A bit disappointed as usually it's great, but not this time.

Lovely food service was great. It was a little hard to communicate with the chefs but the bar staff were so friendly. When we ordered our food there was a mix up with the orders and I ended up being given a meat dish when I am vegetarian but the mistake was sorted out straight away after it being highlighted, we still had to pay for the dish in which we didn't order but there was no complaints as it was all eaten by the family. Food is very tasty and I would highly recommend this restaurant is you want a a meal with a lot of flavour. The portions looked small in the bowl however they were actually very filling, don't be put off by the bowl it holds alot. This place was very pleasing and I would recommend eating here.
