Jonathans in the Park in Sandwell

My son and I visited Jonathan's yesterday afternoon. We ordered Victorian seasoned chips which were very tasty and traditional soft drinks. I had heard that service was slow but we had no problems. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was very warm that day so we chose to sit outside. Unfortunately only one of the tables, which were red hot, had any shade in the form of a parasol.

Lovely place to visit, set in the middle of the park with lovely views. Very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Traditional tea room with good food and great coffee. Good value for money. Well worth a visit.

Lovely spot for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Lovely atmosphere and their irish nights are great fun with live music. Option to sit outside in the park or the garden too on a nice day

Had a birthday meal for 22 guests and Jonathans were absolutely amazing. Apart from allowing us to use the whole restaurant, provided superb meals that all my guest who were impressed with ,including special diets, they were so helpful. Can't thank you enough for making my wife's Birthday so special, you are real stars and what a superb setting, a rare find these day.

Very disappointed with my pre ordered gluten free afternoon tea. The bread had been left out too long in a hot environment and had dried out, the scone had been microwaved for too long and was hard inside and the one cake I had was a soggy brownie cut in half. At £23 I consider this very bad value and will not be revisiting.

Stunning place, fab stuff and amazing food. Best eggs bendict I've had and then a lush scone, the cream is always 1st then the jam 😋

We had Afternoon Tea, very good selection of Cakes and Finger Sandwiches as well as Scones with Jam and Clotted Cream. Especially nice, as a non Tea Drinker, as an alternative to Tea or Filter Coffee to be able to have a Cappuccino, Latte etc and still being able to have refills. Very enjoyable and a lovely location.

Lovely place and great setting but tea and cake very pricey and not the best. Though have had the breakfast on a previous occasion and the taste and quality made up for the high price

Lovely teahouse, beautiful decor. The staff were nice. Just a bit too pricey, just over £10 for a coffee and hot chocolate.

Very well presented, and one of the waitresses helped us move furniture to get the buggy to our table and put it out of the way.The cakes and teas are also very nice. A little on the pricey side, but the quality makes you feel like you aren't getting short changed
